TART Challenge2 - The Need to Read (15)
Here are links to the mods "read" shelves for reference for our current task (I lucked out and happened to need a book for a different challenge that Jane has read already!)
Yz the Whyz
Jane (PS)
MountainKat
KarenH
Fran's is private so not listed. Others may be as well, but if I'm friends with them I had access so I'm not 100% certain. :)

I just sent Fran a friend request. I was hoping one of them had read Someday, Someday but they hadn't. I'm rearranging a few things so hopefully I can maximize my books for this week.

These books can't be started until after we have our task anyway, so you didn't lose anything with Someday, Someday. ;) :D

LOL I thought the same thing with searching what I’m reading but then remembered....once I had some coffee haha.I’ve started November 9 today, which KarenH has read, and I have not. :-) Already enjoying it.
bamaace83 wrote: "I've got that one on hold to read on November 9th. I heard it was really good."I liked it, but then I've liked all of her books.
Cyndee wrote: "No worries Keri! Seriously, I didn't remember the nonfiction rule for RRRC either so it could have been any one of us. :)THANK YOU KAT! for being so gracious with us!!"
Just to clarify, it isn't an RRRC requirement - unless specified otherwise you can read almost anything for a challenge here. It is mostly just the team challenges that have these requirements - this challenge is that books have to be fiction, BTC books have to be MPG Romance, and the PtP is that books have to be novels. Slight variations and it is hard for even me to keep track and two of them are my challenges! 😂
And I'm happy I was able to come up with a way to make it work for you all. 😊
bamaace83 wrote: "I've got that one on hold to read on November 9th. I heard it was really good."LOL my original plan was to start it Nov. 9, but pushed it up since it fit this :-)
Glad to hear you guys who’ve read it liked it!
Y’all. This from lukov to love book is awesome. I’m on my phone so I can’t link but I just busted out laughing driving home. Cyndee was right. This audio version is great. If y’all haven’t read or listened to it do it before escape goes away.

Audible escape if you have it. I've used it so much but the subscription service is ending November 1st. Audible says they will have good options for free still but I need to see that to believe it.
Callie Dalton is fantastic! And when Teddy Hamilton as Lukov calls her Meatball... 😂😂😂
I'm so glad you're loving it Anna! I actually wait for her books to come out on audio if I know Callie Dalton is going to be the narrator. 😁
Why are they getting rid of audible escape do you know? I feel like so many people I know use it and are so upset about it going away. It seems weird to get rid of something so popular :/
I have no idea but I wish they wasn't. Maybe just all of us loved it but it didn't do that awesome nationally? I just hate it because now I'm like that's only a few days away. So that means I'll be listening to the Zapata books over the next couple weeks. Which one do I need to do next? I just finished Lukov. I also have Maybe Someday on library hold for this one. If y'all finish before it appears then I will speed read something else so I don't hold it up.
Well in a shocking turn of events, I already finished my book lol. I became obsessed with November 9 and was listening every chance I got. I finished it this morning while packing my lunch lol.I’ll get it posted later today.
I found a baby book on Fran's list that I can knock out tonight since I am still on the waitlist for the other one.
Me too. :) I'm going to try to finish up 3 books this afternoon but this one will be a definite.

I've been trying to figure out how to get more Hoover books to fit my challenges. Another author they introduced me to last challenge was Amy Harmon. You should check her out also. Oh and Mariana Zapata because I'm kinda hooked on her right now.

Brute by Kim Fielding

Such a beautiful story. The development of the relationship between Aric (Brute) and Gray is lovely, but the true guts of this book are in Aric's personal growth. An inherently good, compassionate, generous, sacrificing heart inside a self-proclaimed ugly package, Brute is a truly captivating character. His connection with Gray and some seriously sweet supporting characters, especially Warin and his sister Alys, made my little heart so happy. Few book character's have deserved a happily-ever-after more than Aric. ❤

Here is Task 7:27. Read a minimum of 750 pages in books published in any one year prior to 2018, team picks the year.
As a team select a year prior to 2018, then read at least 750 pages in books initially published in that year. For this task, you will be using the initial publication date - if there is one listed on the editions page use that, otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.
My most immediate books are 2010 and 2016 but I can do pretty much anything.
Keri & Anna...any chance you guys have a book that will work for 2010? Honestly though I'm pretty sure I can find a book that will work for pretty much any year that starts with a 2 :)
Mine coming up are 2006 and 2018. The one I’m already reading is 2016.
Those are the ones I need to finish in October but let me search through any short audios I have from the library now and see what I find.
Also found 2008, 2009, 2013 that I could get.Tons of 2018, of course the year it has to be before lol

I'll be done today too! I have to take small breaks between chapters because it is kind of ridiculous (and I'd totally DNF if I didn't need it for another challenge), but it's a short one. :)
