TART Challenge2 - Reading Rainbows (14)
I've read all our choices for this task...well, almost. I downloaded a preview of The Capital that wasn't labeled as such. But I will finish it.I'm glad you both liked the books.
Here is Task 8:75. Read over
As a team, select a letter and then read over 850 pages in books that start with that letter. All articles will be disregarded! So don't select T and read a book like The Jackal, that would count for J, not T. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.
I have books for pretty much anything, but U E or M would be my preference. What works for you guys?
Going to read Marked by death by Kaje harper - 170 pagesAnd
Murder at pirate's cove by Josh lanyon - 206 pages
Marked by Death is a story of Necromancer, ghosts and stuff. Newly released and available for free in smashwords.
Teresa wrote: "I read that when it was a serial in her Facebook group! It’s so good!!"Started it. Looks good so far.

A necromancer rescues a young man riddled with ghosts and its the beginning of a new and unusual parternership.
We have cat familiars, demons possessed sorcerers and explosive magic at play here. Exciting start to a new series. Cant wait for the next book.

A murder mystery from a quaint little town set in a fictional island. Ellery Page has just started a new page in his life, when a dead body is discovered in his book store and Eller is the prime suspect. We are introduced to different personalities in this Pirate's cove and lots of suspects.
The romance is barely there, hopefully there will be more between Ellery and Carson, the gruff police chief.
A good mystery. You are kept in the dark, till the final pages. Recommended read.
I need to get reading on mine.I just really wish I could continue a certain series I'm really into right now. I jump on every chance I can fit them into a challenge.
I finished The Capital series. Totally loved it 😀 Its not as elaborate as Captive prince, but exciting in its own way.

I loved Isaac’s story. His addiction was handled with dignity and I liked that he accepted support. While his relationship with Constantine was quick, I always seem to be able to buy it more when there are paranormal elements at play. I liked getting to know Constantine and see more of Angel, Simeon, Milly, Daniel, and Eroch. I need Daniel’s story next and I hope for more adventures with this group!!

Here is Task 9:55. Read
As a team select a country and then read 5 books set in that country. Please include the selected country in your completion posts. Remember to let me know how you know the books qualify - in the book details, title, series, precis, tags or links. Include any info or links as necessary.
Teresa had suggested England in the initial discussion of the tasks. I am also okay with that. What do you say Madelyn? Do you have other suggestions?
I'm still good with England. Lets give it to tomorrow and if Madelyn hasn't checked in with a different request we can go ahead. I want to see if I can double up with PtP or BINGO anyway - I have ARC's I need to read again this week :D
I have two for England (one of which I'm already reading), and two for Australia. Either is good for me.
What a coinkydink! I have a Jay Northcote book as well!I'm currently reading Streets Apart and Hearts Apart. I can then read A Family for Christmas.

Two boys, sworn to be best friends forever break their friendship upon misunderstandings. The neighborhood witch decides to shake them up a bit. And one day they wake up in each other's bodies.
An interesting take in 'body swapping'. Low angst romance between senior boys.
I think I'll read Into You as well... I'm having trouble finding a book in my collection that mentions location that isn't too long...
Madelyn- are you interested? Christmas Bingo will start soon. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...I see that Teresa has joined.
Maybe. I've been struggling with all the book clubs and challenges I've been doing this month, but I might be fine if I just don't sign up for another.

Lord Foxy is a cute nosy parker. He keeps butting in other people's affairs and bumping into dead bodies, whose mysteries he is eager to solve. Aided by his efficient valet, Reggie and Twister, the burly officer from Scotland yard , Foxy is off to his adventures.
The writing is excellent and you are reminded of Wooster and Jeeves and their capers. Loved this book. Hoping for a sequel with more stories from Foxy and his friends.
