Gah, I knew this one was gonna be a difficult sell. I honestly didn't think there was any way to make Connor (Cutter) a likeable character, but damn. By the end it all made so much sense.

Cute. Ive never read a book with a dinosaur shifter before. Dalton and Simon were so cute together. The pair going around Dinosaur World was a hoot.

I was just waiting for Ollie's story and maybe in a previous book he and Daniel were mentioned as a potential couple but I don't remember. That said, what a cute freaking story. Accidental marriage turned best friends with benefits turned real marriage. Super sweet. Loved!

I was confused for most of this book as I was waiting for the Enhanced FBI team to be involved, but by the third quarter I gave up expecting them :) I enjoyed the plot. It was a solid installment. Hopefully the next book will somehow integrate back to the Enhanced team.

Review:
I am really enjoying these O'Leary storylines. They are easy to listen too and are nearly 100% focused on the romance - but not with a heap of crazy angst. This romance has communication issues - but the MCs' background are the cause and the story is their realisation and addressing of that issue.
Will definitely listen to the next one :)

Fabulous narration by Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese - 5 stars.

Review: So, coming back to stories after I've read the previous installment so long ago, is always weird...and I think my next year's resolution is to re-read at LEAST the prior book in a series before starting a new one because while this one was good, I didn't likee it as much as I remember liking the others.

Of course, I also listened to most of those and that when it's a good narrator it makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Hopefully this one will be audio as well.

That said, this was still a good story. NRW does such a good job of taking historical people and/or events and putting a supernatural/paranormal spin to them.

I like the detective and psychic partnership.
Liam and Det Thompson met when Liams ex partner was a policeman and after Will died, the detective looked after Liam.
In the first of this series, the 2 are investigating a series of murders. The mystery was good but I thought it was easily wrapped up.
I will be reading further books in this series.

So Kat, the first Kindle edition didn’t apply in this case like is the case in the Bach challenge?
