Review: Reread on 9/24/2020 By the end of the series, Jack and Ethan became one of my absolute favorite MM couples, so it was great fun getting to go through the beginning with them again. (Great fun, and heartbreak, even when I knew what was coming). I'm not sure John Solo was the best choice for the audio, but he did an alright job, and I'll definitely be listening to the rest of the audiobooks as they're released. Original review I really did not expect this book to live up to its hype but it totally did. It was a perfect mix of political intrigue and a very sweet slow burn GFY romance. I was often on the edge of my seat with tension and suspense and absolutely loved it. The romance was super sweet too. A great start to a series.
I'm taking my daughter out east tomorrow, it's a great time of year to be at the eastern tip of Long Island - so beautiful - anyway, I'm really hoping I will have my book finished tonight, otherwise it will be tomorrow night before I can post it.
Finished my book..having dinner and will.post later ....i know we cant edit at moment on GR wonder if we can copy & paste 🤔🤔

Review:
I totally loved the first book featuring Rafa and Shane. Now this second book unfortunately didn't move me the same way. Maybe the problem was me and the two years break between reading book 1 and book 2 but it took me ages to connect with the guys again.
They were both having issues with insecurities, Shane keeping his nightmares secret cause he had this deep need to keep Rafa sheltered. And on top of that Rafa's parents, especially his mum, were giving them a hard time. So this book lacked the lightness I was expecting.
Trio ..as long as ypur book is the 150 minimum then we ok for the 1000 total....can you post when you finished please

Review: While a bit on the over dramatic side, and another one of those "why don't they just be honest with each other" romances, I liked this one quite well.
Plus - narration by Iggy Toma, yes please!

I sat on the knife's edge of angst all the way through this one. It does make me curious for the next book in the series though, about the actors playing the roles in the film. I see why folks love Tibby Armstrong, it was well written, but time will tell if I venture here again.

Review: While the love story in this one is quite light hearted, and a lot of fun, there were times where the tension and suspense had me furiously turning pages seriously worried about a HEA (it’s there by the way, and it’s lovely). I think it was the perfect balance though and made for a very enjoyable story.

Really enjoyed is . Lovely murder mysery set in a little village in England.
Anderson & Brights banter made me laugh lots.
The only thing that niggled me was the over use of the word Rozzer..which is a slang term for policeman but i was under rhe impression that it wasnt used any more as more a victorian thing, i certainly havent come across it in fiction or real life , so surprised to see it here

Review:
Hm, I think this book was basically well-written but it wasn't the right one for me. For one, while it was interesting to get a look at the community of British boaters, the amount of details about living on the English canals and about narrowboats was too extensive for me.
Then the two main characters, I couldn't connect to them, I didn't even like them.
Honestly, I think I wouldn't have get past the first 20% if it hadn't been for this challenge.

This group....i thought it was gonna be a lot of pnr at first but ive got a few days to decide
I haven't started yet, but will be starting shortly! I already know I love it though so I'm looking forward to it. I'm doing the Halloween, it seems super casual since there's no end goal, just spin as much as you want, so I figure I will just use it when I need help deciding what to read next.
Pressure Head is one of my all time favorite series! Someday I'll have to do a re-read.I'm doing Lovers Leap and it's hilarious! I've got 2 hours left (audio).

Review:Reread 9/28/20: Definitely holds up on a reread and I just really love this series! The narrator for the audio book took me a moment to get into, but ended up doing a brilliant job! Original Review I really like Merrows writing; its unapologetically British, and always has the right amount of humor and wit. I’m a huge fan of mysteries and I quite enjoyed this one, I was never able to figure out whodunnit, but it also didn’t feel like there were pointless red herrings. The romance is light, but there; and I hope we get to see it develop further in future installments

sorry Amanda - I crashed last night!
Yes, DSP does BDSM it was just the author didn't feel like it fit the character any more. I'm paraphrasing, but I interviewed her for the blog I write for when Dreamspinner was releasing this series and that's what she said. I 100% disagree lol, Nate is way hotter in the original. This is the only book she rewrote, she left the other ones alone.
