Hows your party going Caipi....i like to go out but with everything going on i havent been out so much
Boris Johnson did introduce a "Eat out to help out " scheme where you basically had half price meal every mon, tue , wed in August ..trouble was tou had to book a table and as restaurants were reducing their intake you couldnt get in anywhere 😄

What was the thought behind "Eat out to help out"? To get the restaurants more guests or to get the citizens a meal?

Do we have to do selection posts or just completion? It might be helpful to do selections anyway since some are everyone reads a different book, but thought I'd check what you all think!

I think selection is better as then we can see what the others are reading in case we need to do different books .
But can just do C & P when do completion anyway, so not any extra work really , and it gives us time to check the page count is correct before you finish book as we need to do kindle edition and i still cant get the hang of that

Long story short, we got a puppy about 10 days ago and she got pneumonia - she's less than 4 pounds, poor baby. Anyway she's home from the hospital and sitting on my lap with my other dog - still coughing a bit and with a bunch of meds to take, but hopefully won't be so time consuming for me starting now!

So my plan for this one is to just look for brand new books or lesser known books where people have tagged it less. For example, someone recommended me Genuinely Extraordinary in the MM group so I assume it's got romance, but it's not tagged.

I'm also on a couple arc teams and those usually don't have any tags yet, so I'm hopeful they will work. I just don't really enjoy books that don't have some sort of romantic subplot!

I was planning out some books (even though I always end up going with something else lol), and none of the books on my TBR have over 10,000 ratings so I'm dreading that. (Although I have some I can reread that will work)

Looks like it, which is actually a tough number to get close to I've noticed. They either have under 150 or over 250 and seem to be little in between

We lost one of our guinea pigs last weekend , ans we were all broken hearted and 2 weeks before that i was looking after my friends hamster and she died as well...unfortunately there are not many experienced small.animal vets near us so other than the basic ailments they havent a clue . They more experienced with cats and dogs

on the non MPG romance, just take a screenshot of your book to hold onto in case it suddenly gets shelved by a whole bunch of readers and the romance shelf makes it to the main page (this has worked in other RRRC challenges as proof).

..we seem a really easy , flexible bunch so im assuming if someone needs a pass its because something is happening at home , so can i just ask to let us know as soon as , so we have to read the extra book if someone passes 😊😊

I read usually at least two books a day anyway so I can totally help if someone needs a pass! I also will be happy to take two when we have to read 6 books
