Since I didn't remember too much about this book, I had to start over here before reading Book 2. This time I listened to the audio book version which is reallygreat! Although I have to admit that my inexperienced "German ears" initially had some problems with the dialect.... ;)

Wow, E. Davies sure knows how to write chemistry between their characters!
An entertaining start to Davies' Riley Brothers series, Buzz gives just enough info about the 0ther two brothers to leave me craving the next episode (good thing I've got it ready to go!). Between the friendly people and the picturesque descriptions of this small Canadian town, I'm intrigued.
And Davies' smoking hot love scenes are the icing on the cake. LOL, icing you get it? Yes, one of the MCs is a hockey player, but there aren't many sports scenes here so non-hockey fans don't worry, this is pure romance.
The audio for the Riley Brothers series is performed by Michael Dean who does a wonderful job with it. A good match up for the sweet, laid back characters - plus no body can read erotica better.

Review:
Another enjoyable episode in E. Davies Riley Brothers series, Clang has a bit more drama to it. Chase is running from an ultra religious family who are actively trying to bring him home. Chase's story definitely needs a happy ending, and I hope we see more of him as this series progresses.
Audio by Michael Dean who does a lovely job with the characters in this book.
So we just need one more right? I'll be finishing my second tonight and can finish a third in the morning!

Review:
4.5 stars and my favorite of the series so far! This is definitely a case of instalove, so if that isn’t your bag, it won’t be for you; but it just worked beautifully for me. Tyler and Alec were both aching for love (even if they couldn’t admit it to themselves), and for them to find it with each other made for such a sweet read. Great humor, low angst, an interesting side suspenseful plot, this book just really had it all.

Review: Okay, so this one might be my favorite (I don’t know, it’s too close to call!). But this this book was just so darn sweet, but with enough tension to make it so it wasn’t saccharine. Josh was the significant brother I felt we knew the least about, which makes sense once you know his history and how it’s made him close off his emotions. But while that could turn some people into grade A jerks, it has made him so completely kind and caring, it’s impossible not to love him. And Evan, well I adored Evan, and watching him learn to stand on his own to feet after a terrible relationship is a complete joy. These two needed each other, and it was a perfect way to close out the series, giving us the amazing, sweet, and funny love story you can expect in each book of this series.

Review: This book was AMAZING. Probably tied with Bond for the best book in this universe, and definitely the best book within this spin off series. I just absolutely adored Finch and Hugh. Finch was so put together on the outside, but yearning for so much more, especially his alpha dragon boss. And Hugh, sweet, naive, adorable Hugh wanted a family so bad and didn’t even realize when his family was right in front of him. I am genuinely sad I finished this story, as I would do anything to be able to still be reading it. It’s funny, fluffy, sweet, sexy, literally everything you need in a book.

Review:
This book starts two years after David and Murdo's parting at the end of book 1. The King is coming to Scotland and so is Murdo, attending the festivities on his father's order (to which he of course only agreed on so he could get the chance to finally see David again...:)).
The first half was a bit slow but in the second half it got considerably better and the tension was high!
Murdo and David were beautiful together!
Looking forward to reading book 3 now. :)
Oh, and I absolutely got accustomed to Hamish McKinlay's narration which was really well done!

Happy endings for everyone.
The first two books in this series are really well done - the author builds this whole dark story, and the characters are complex and even the bad guys are super interesting.
Fighter didn't work for me. The way the story jumps from time period to time period is confusing and it was tough to keep my focus.
In the end I'm happy to get everything wrapped up, and Blair and Mannie's story is really nice.
