TART Challenge2 - Chase the Rainbow (2)
I dont think Ashley john writes mm anymkre..he's still writing all the Agatha Frost books Pancakes and Corpses
Amanda wrote: "I can get a 2020 book done tomorrow!"Great, we'll just ask kat if we can keep what we got..I'll pop and mention it on other page
yeah I'm almost done w Murder in Pastel so I don't really want to change tasks now. I thought J was asking why our team got so many 6 and 8 book tasks, not if this was a repeat.
We have had 10 tasks with 6 or 8 books required. These are the tasks which say read 6 or 8 books, not including the tasks where you have to read a minimum page count and could be more than 4 books
Think 6/ 8 books just luck of the draw/ randomizer ....and if we gonna get a repeat task this is probably one of the easier ones 😄😄
If anyone wants to read a 2020 book anyways I can take my pass this time around (I can definitely get it done at some point tomorrow, but I won’t be taking a pass later in the challenge so if someone wants to do it now so we can get done quicker totally understand). I promise to make this week up later on a 6/8 book task!
Ive got a bit confused when Kat allocates tasks ..think is tomorrow so you may be ok ...ill read one anyway after this just in case ..i dont think we in the chance of winning but tbh id rather not be if it means speed reading at the end ..ive really enjoyed this challenge and i think cramming lots of books in would spoil it for me
Sorry about the confusion. No, you shouldn't have gotten the same task again and even though I checked, my eyes went right over the number. But since it is has been nearly a day, just do this again - like you are working on.Sorry again, especially not seeing your message last night.
ETA: You can't get another task before tomorrow.
I agree - I honestly don't care about winning the challenge. I'm astonished we're as far along as we are tbh and I've been having the best time with you ladies. I'm going to be really sad when this one is over.
I have the review for Misbehaved due on the 27th, I can listen to that one for 2020 and Amanda can take her pass if you want 💐
Trio wrote: "I have the review for Misbehaved due on the 27th, I can listen to that one for 2020 and Amanda can take her pass if you want 💐"Thats great Trio..i know Amanda busy with moving , so one less to worry about..i shall finish my first book tonight, and wouldnt be able to start another till i finish work tomorrow..so if you can do it instead ...😊😊

yes no problem - I've got to listen to it before the 27th so it's perfect for me.damn, Murder in Pastel is wonderful. I've owned it for ages and I'm a huge JL fan, it's one of those I just never got around to reading... again lucky for challenges, right?

Wow, amazing! The perfect Lanyon protagonist, a fascinating and complex mystery, and absolutely beautifully written.
I'm sorry I waited so long to finally listen to this audiobook. Tristan Wright does a lovely job, especially with Kyle. Wright captures the intricacies of Kyle's character, and makes the most of the emotional moments. Really nice.
Thank you all!! And I agree on the team. It’s a perfect blend of on top of it without being cutthroat and I’ve been having a blast.
Janeylou wrote: "Trio..do you want to put a link to the 2000 edition for murder in pastel as well ..just in case"good idea J, I added some more info to help clarify the original date of Murder in Pastel, I hope it's enough :)

It’s going! Lol. All the stuff is in the new place but now we have to do unpacking which is not fun lol. I also didn’t realize just how much stuff you needed to buy when you go from an apartment to a house

Ugh, GR is so frustrating sometimes! Yesterday whenever I tried to load the page I mostly got an "Goodreads is over capacity, please try later again" and today my updates feed starts with 22h and nothing recent.....

Our Tasha hasnt had to do decorating The government over here do a scheme where they lend you 25% price for deposit ( you pay 5% ) and that brings mortgage payments down . Only you can only have a new build . Pros are that it is all.painyed and carpeted everything new . Cons are you find all the problems ( little & big ) that havent been found !!!!
A few of the other teams are getting tasks that are numbered over 100 so if you get something over night that needs a decision ..ill go with the flow as im sure Caipi will 😊

Holy hell, I didn't realize I'd be doing another enemies to lovers novel quite so quickly.
An old fan of Simon Strange, I can literally read anything he writes but I'm not familiar with Ali Lyda. I can definitely see what influences they have over Strange and I'm not truly sure I like it.
I did enjoy the story though.

Was this your fist Gregory Ashe book? So far I only read the first 4 books of his Hazard and Somerset Series, but these I enjoyed.
