Create new series

I have two novels on my author profile which should be linked as part of a series.

Series name should be: “The Divide”


Books in the series:

The Last Watch (The Divide #1)
The Exiled Fleet (The Divide #2)

That doesn't sound like it would qualify as a series here on Goodreads.

Oh no! Is that because it's the first in the series. The second won't be out for a while. The manuscript isn't even finished. Do I need to wait until there's at least two book in the series first?

To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. What makes this a series?

Also, it gets confusing when a thread linked to a specific book or author is also used for other books. In the future, please start a new thread rather than using one linked to an author or another book.
