TASSIAN IS A BLAZING INFERNO HIDDEN UNDER THE GUISE OF AN UNDISTURBED, SERENE LAKE. Unassuming and quiet for the most part, he doesn't catch other's attentions easily. And when others do notice him and try to communicate with him, he seems... off, as if his physical form is with them, but his spirit is gone, a transient wisp between worlds, never quite at home in his body. Don't be offended, though - he is listening, and is more than happy to go along with others' ideas. He'll do his best while he's at it. He always does; if people are going on an adventure and they decide to take him, they deserve everything he can give. He isn't really the kind of person to initiate communications with others, as he is usually too absorbed in his own little world until someone comes to find him.

He speaks softly and kindly, no matter what he says, and for some reason, whenever he opens his mouth to properly say something, he immediately commands the attentions of everyone around him. Perhaps it's because he doesn't speak often; or maybe it's because whenever he does make a noise from his mouth, it's usually a dreamy ramble to himself, spoken to low too be heard by others.

Invisible to the outside world, a burning desire to explore consumes his being, the flames constantly flickering through his veins, giving him a hard time whenever he is expected to sit still. The thirst is unquenchable - there are days where his throat for exploration is parched so much he struggles to breathe. Even thinking about the possibilities out there in the world excites him, pumps his heart, and floods adrenaline through his veins. He is like a child when they first discover chocolate, ever craving more of the treat, never knowing if ever they will stop. Wanderlust. Oh, what a beautiful word. He thinks there is no better word than that. How many times has he wandered through the forest at night, drinking in the cold air and nocturnal music, gazing up to the splatter of sparkling stars? How many times has he travelled up and down the river, feeling the clear water twine around his ankles, gurgling its special little song? Too many times to count - but it never gets old for him.

Every moment is fleeting, but every moment is worth more than all the riches in the world put together times the amount of sand in the beaches. He knows his brain is incapable of keeping all of these precious little moments in storage - It would never come close to having the capacity to do so. Thus he carries a camera with him - a small, brown, vintage chunk of metal and plastic. It is so slim, so tiny compared to the significance of the memories it contains, but it is everything to him.

ALL HIS CHILDHOOD, HE KNEW HE DIDN'T BELONG. Not in the way a kid didn't belong with the other kids. No - he knew he didn't belong in the world where he was. Tassian grew up in a massive city, with lights so bright that day extended well beyond dusk, and skyscrapers so tall that to look up was to ask for a headache. Everything was crammed together - people, buildings, machines. Lives. His family was lower middle class, so life wasn't hard for him, but it wasn't easy either. With his parents out most of the day working to pay their various bills and rent, he had to take care of himself. Every day was a whirlwind of school, people, honking cars, chores, cooking, running from one place to another with not even a second of rest. He never quite understood how people could live in this kind of environment. He could see the weariness in his parents' slumped shoulders, the tiredness in their bleary eyes. And as he grew up, fitfully, he resolved that once he was free, he would change things for himself, and for them.

His ability surprised him when it first manifested. He was alone - as he often was, nobody really wanted to talk to the quiet dreamer who wasn't quite there all the time - and he was in the center of the park, by the lake, one of the few places where he felt like he could actually breathe. With him he had a book. He had taken a massive liking to reading; what cramped space the world called reality would wall away as he flipped open the pages, stepping into another world, far more freeing, where he could run and explore and experience all sorts of magical things. That day, specifically, he had been reading about The White Cliffs of Dover. The book was incredibly descriptive, giving him a perfect image in his mind's eye. With his eyes closed, he could feel the sea breeze waft over his skin, cooling down the sweat from a day's hectic life. He could faintly hear the calling of gulls. The grass was short and prickly under his feet - unlike the soft, neatly trimmed grass of the park. A salty tang hung in the air, assaulting his sense of smell.

Then suddenly - he was there. The roar of waves crashing against rock filled the air. The wind picked up, blowing his hood and scarf back. He opened his eyes to complete wonderment. His surroundings were exactly the same as what he'd imagined in his mind. Wide, chalky cliffs greeted him, and an expanse of emerald green swept out around him, unfurling for miles of untouched scenery upon miles. He was surprised at first, but wonder soon overtook that. He threw his hands into the air, rejoicing, almost crying, that he had come to such an amazing place, even if he didn't know how.

And as he turned to survey the land, he found that there was a large mirror beside him, hovering a step above the grass. It was a peculiar mirror - flat, oval in shape, and rimmed in gold fleur-de-lis. Instead of seeing himself and the surroundings reflected in it, he saw the park, where he had been moments ago. His book lay fallen on the ground, its pages spread open where he'd just been reading about the cliffs. He had walked through this... portal. With his eyes closed. Maybe the average person would have been scared, but he was young, and he was excited. He yelled his celebrations into the air upon the realisation that he - really, he - had made the portal.

After that, he found that it happened many times, often when he was dreaming vividly of a location.

And soon after that, a mysterious letter arrived at his doorstep.

─── PHYSICAL

TASS IS WHAT PEOPLE WOULD CALL "HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT". There isn't really much about him - people could look over him multiple times without acknowledging his presence. To them, he's just another face in the crowd, another passerby. He's not tall, and he's not short. He's just around the average height for his age, 1m70, with ordinary blond locks that curl and fall a little past the nape of his neck. His eyes are a greenish-blue. They aren't the beautiful emerald or the blazing cereulean colour that books are so keen on describing eyes to be. They are just blue. And green. And somewhat desaturated in hue. Totally unremarkable.

He usually wears a long, wide scarf, one that he can fiddle with if he absolutely has to sit down for an extended period of time, and one that he can hide small books and pens and various other items in. He prefers a t-shirt and shorts for easier mobility. Plus, with shorts, you don't have to worry about your pant legs getting wet when you play around in a stream. He only wears long pants if it's cold outside. Over everything, he wears an oversized jacket that falls to his knees and arms, leaving him with floppy sleeve hands unless he pushes them back.

He always has his camera with him. It's what people notice about him first. In fact, the camera is more interesting than Tass.

History: Her Mom used to work for the CIA before she retired a few years after she and her twin were born and her dad was a scientist. Their mom taught them to hold a gun at the age of 7 and their dad taught them how to defend themselves without weapons. Their powers started developing at the age of 13 which they tried to keep hidden. She and her twin helped each other learn how to contain them with help from their parents but for the times they couldn't, they're dad used to give them power suppressing bands which he had developed at their request. Even though the two of them hated the bands, they were necessary. There was also the fear of being kidnapped and/or getting experimented on my people just for their powers and both of their parents knew that. When the two recieved their letters, inviting them to camp they knew that they finally found a place where they could be themselves and be accepted for it.

History: When Elaine was young, Her Father and Mother would argue a lot, Which made her dislike the loudness. She used to be very quiet, but her Father would always be there for her and take care of her. Even though he was stressed with work and all, He always had an eye on her, Playing with her and encouraging her to be social and do whatever she likes. At nights, Her mother would come, and her father would be upset and argue with her about why she would always come home late. Then, they'd argue for hours and she'd be crying, praying that she doesn't want anymore problems, and that her parents would get along. Even though her Mother wouldn't take care of her, She loved her as she loved her father. When she was 6 years old, She had friends at school, and was grateful for it, Because of her father. One day, when she came back from school, Walking with one of her friends' mother, She found her father, dead on the living room floor, And her Mother was nowhere to be found. At the hospital, the doctor's told her, her father died because of overdose. After that, She changed, She started losing friends, kept to herself, was really quiet, and would only eat 1 meal a day. She was left alone, And was taken to foster care, because her Mother abandoned her. She was taken to a rich and wealthy family, Where she had lots of things she never imagined she'd have. At the age of 12, Her foster mother passed away, And all of the sadness came to her again. That's where she left the house, because she couldn't take it anymore. She reunited with her mother again at the age of 14 and she disliked her a lot, And she had her reasons. She has scars around her body, but never shows them, and has a small amethyst necklace, which her father gave to her before he passed away.

History: Paris was born in Paris to Irina and Darrin. Irina was very poor and Darrin was rich. When Irina told Darrin she was super poor, it was the same day she (Irina) told him she was pregnant. History: Reese was born in Florida to her mom and dad. She had seven older siblings. 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She was the youngest out of 10 siblings so she had 10 older siblings 4 sisters and 6 brothers. They loved her. Reese moved to Australia for three years and moved back to Florida but her mom and dad got divorced when she was 7 years old. She would always vist both of them with a couple of her silbings (four of them) she got super close to her dad and became more like him..Until one day she got in a car crash and got hurted..While she was hurt she stilled did the things she always loved. Reese started acting at the age of 2 and been in a lot of shows. Shen then started surfing when she was 7 years old..Reese was in a lot of competitions around the world with her dad who grow up on a farm as a country boy and so did Reese. Thats why she loved the outdoors. When Reese was 8 years old her mom died right before a huge hurricane. Reese and all of her siblings survived and her dad, but Reese got badly hurt and was missing for a two months and then they found her barley alive. Some of her silbings stared going her to learn school and then one day Reese got invited to go her and she told her dad. They still hang out and have fun togher and write to each other. Reese loved to hang out side and was always quite. She would do all the things she loved. She always visted her dad when she can and was still acting now she is 13 years old and is still acting and doing all the things she grow up to do. Like act, surf, sporst, climb, dangeorus things, ride horse, enter in horse shows and travel around the world with her dad, growing up country.

But also Her dad was stricted with her at times but he is a caring, loving father and Both of her parents would accpet her no matter what. Personality Description: Clem is a very gentle and sensitive boy. He can be untrusting at times and doesn't really like to be around others, he still loves having friends. Social situations are very hard for him, and he will often find himself getting overwhelmed easily. Clementine lacks impulse control, and is quick to lose his temper. Loud noises frighten him, and he absolutely hates the dark. He cries easily, and can get very emotional and frustrated when things don't go his way. Clem can be shy at times, and very quiet, but he loves hanging out with the Librarian. His laugh is very soft and faint, but genuine and sweet, like honeysuckle. History: Clementine was born in North Dakota, into a very large family. He was the second youngest, out of seven brothers and sisters. His mother died after his younger sister was born, due to an un-treatable brain cancer. His father became very negligent and distant. He drank a lot and ignored his kids. Clem had a very close childhood friend, Cody, who he absolutely loved. They were very close and were always there for each other. Eventually, his father ended up taking his own life, from there, the family was broken up. He was forced to leave Cody, and he tried his best to stay in contact with them. Each sibling taken to a different home. By then, Clementine was very close with his little sister Aspen, which he protected, but she was taken away from him. He spiraled into a life of negativity, leading him down a very dark path. No matter what his new parents did, they couldn't seem to make him feel better. Clem lost a lot of hope, and he started to (view spoiler)[self-harm. He ended up attempting but he was taken to the hospital. (hide spoiler)] After a few more years, and a few more homes, he finally got the letter from Camp Elderberry, and he's now here.
