YA (Middle School Age) 1990's Kid has his brain linked to his computer

Hey, so I remember reading this book in the early-mid 90's. I vaguely remember the cover it was a white kid (head only) and it looked like images were coming out of his eyes. I do remember that he was on his computer and some freak accident happened to wear he got shocked and somehow he had access to his computer via his brain. He would cheat on tests while at school cause he would just use his computer for all the answers. And then eventually the plot changed to something like some secret agents were after him because I think he accidentally accessed something he shouldn't have and now they know what he is capable of or something. Sorry if it isn't enough info but this is all I can remember. The book cover may have been green?
