I read 1-2 books a week. I read anything romance. Im not fond of historical romance. I like mostly contemporary or erotic romance with some bdsm elements. I also read mm and menage but not always.

Hi. I am new to this game and would love to give this a try. I read only m/m these past few years, so is there a team suitable for me? I read about 3 to 6 books in a week. I love mystery, Contemporary, historicals, bdsm and paranormal. There is no hard no to any genre, can try any book.

Nicole, Suzanne, Beth and I seem like we could make a good group...I’m new to the challenge so not sure how number of books read per week come into play but we seem to have genres in common.

Pace is up to the teams, however fast you want to go. I will not assign a new task any sooner than every other day, even if you finish the task in one day. If it takes 3 or 4 days to finish, I would assign the task within 24 hours of being notified - though probably much sooner, I'm not going anywhere these days... 🤷🏻♀️
I would like to join! To be honest though, I don't know how fast I will be able to knock books out. I am still adjusting to being back full time. This would be my first time joining this challenge. I work full time in a library so I am always surrounded by books! I pretty much only read contemporary romance or contemporary YA with romance in them. I read mm romance and mf romance. I love sports romances the most...hockey is the best of course. I may struggle with the sci fi/fantasy because I don't read them so that may have to be my pass round. I have never read historical, but I am willing to give it a try.
Maybe Hayde, Jans, Katelyn (who just signed up) and myself for the last team? We might have some issues with fantasy since Katelyn doesn't read it and it's a preferred genre for Hayde and Jans but hopefully we can make it work. Seems like we all enjoy contemporary/open to other genres.
I just realized there is 1 or 2 urban fantasy books I would like to try and this challenge just may force me to do so. Sometimes I just need that extra nudge.
Haha exactly! I'm sure Hayde and Jans will also have great recommendations too.
Sounds perfect to me! I will set up team threads for both teams after some food and caffeine - both necessary this morning.

So I read pretty much every genre in romance, I have been reading lately dark, contemporary and paranormal/fantasy. But I am open to everything! I have read lots of historical in the past too. If I have to say one that I am not that familiar with is rom-com. I read around 2-3 books per week. Thank you!

I did send out a blast to everyone - you all should have received it. We still have a number of people who haven't checked in. Hopefully by morning. 🤞🏼 I'm not worried about most of them as they have participated in many team challenges. I will PM any stragglers directly tomorrow.

Either way works.
