I read a book a long time ago but never finished it and can not figure out the title. It started out with a guy hanging out in his house in his bathrobe all day. He was divorced and it was his birthday. I remember the charactering talking about how great it is to leave the house and come back then finding everything in place as he left it. The ex-wife showed up later on with a birthday cake and they talked about their relationship. She admitted she met a random guy at a bar and had a 1 night stand?? It was a strange novel but i really liked the main character. Read it around 6-7 years about but it could have been around 10 years old or more. Thanks!!
