Josh Liller (joshism) | 5 comments 1. I am the Editor of the Second Edition of a book that had a different Editor for the First Edition. Should the two editions be combined in Goodreads? Is that even possible since the primary author is different?

2. In 2014, the publisher reprinted the First Edition with a new cover using ISBN 1561647101 and ISBN13 9781561647101. The publisher reused that ISBN and ISBN13 for the Second Edition. Those ISBNs are currently used in Goodreads for the aforementioned reprint, which had a substantially smaller print run than the Second Edition.

Goodreads listing for the 1E Reprint:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Listing on Amazon for the Second Edition:
https://www.amazon.com/Florida-Lighth...

I can verify the Amazon listing is correct since I have a physical copy on hand.

To complicate matters, Worldcat lists both versions, but the older version incorrectly shows the cover for the newer version.

Which Goodreads listing should have the ISBN attached to it: the one that was released first or the one that had a larger print run?
