Royal Witches: Witchcraft and the Nobility in Fifteenth-Century England seems to be about the 1400s, and I'm going to say it's too early. (Looks interesting, though.)
I nominate “Uncrowned Queen: The Life of Margaret Beaufort, Mother of the Tudors,” by Nicola Tallis.

Yeah, Antonietta, that looks very interesting, but I just can't see a way of justifying it, unfortunately. If it was partly about Margaret Beaufort I'd take it.
Margaret Beaufort .... She was too pious for that kind of things but it is possible that she has a part in the book as she was at court during Edward IV' s reign and she wasn't Elisabeth Woodvilles' best friend. I am not sure about it as I haven't read the book yet
If anyone has a nomination still to make, now would be a good time, as I'll probably be opening the poll later today.
I will nominate The Last Armada: Queen Elizabeth, Juan del Águila, and Hugh O'Neill: The Story of the 100-Day Spanish Invasion by Des Ekin and The White Rose Murders by Paul Doherty. And with that I close nominations.
The poll is now open. You'll find it at the top of the group's Polls page, the bottom of its Home page, or here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/2... .
I'm afraid that nominations are closed, Carolina - you should definitely nominate that next month, though.
The clear winner in the runoff: Uncrowned Queen: The Fateful Life of Margaret Beaufort, Tudor Matriarch. We'll be discussing it here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... .

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.
Two nominations to a person, please.
