Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 1956 comments Uncrowned Queen: The Fateful Life of Margaret Beaufort, Tudor Matriarch by Nicola Tallis, a biography of the mother of Henry VII, was published in 2019 and should be available in most formats (I didn't see audiobook).

William Whalen | 66 comments I had not realized how many husbands Margaret Beaufort burned through. Who has more her or Elizabeth Taylor? It looks like Henry VIII was just following in grandma's footsteps when it comes to multiple marriages. He had more, but she went through them quicker.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 1956 comments LOL. I had a history professor in college who asked if anyone could name all of Liz Taylor's husbands, and got multiple takers.

He then said we had no excuse not to be able to remember all of Henry VIII's wives.

He didn't say Henry was taking after grandma!
