SOLVED. Childrens book read in the early 80s about an Odd Family. [s]

Distinct memory is that Father worked for aIrline or in airport and brought home barf bags that children used to take lunch to school.

May have been Me and The Weirdos but can’t confirm online the airline point and the barfbag/lunch bags that I remember.

This review mentions the barf bags....

"I had this book with me on a car trip one summer when I was 7, and I swear I read it 3 or 4 times in a row over a week. I remember inside-out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And her father worked cleaning airplanes, and he used to bring home barf bags for her to use as lunch bags."
