The book was a fantasy fiction novel. It was told from the point of view of two boys, I think they turned out to be separated brothers at the end. One of the boys was in a circus and I think the other one was a prince. I briefly remember an evil ringleader and a hot air balloon? I might be making that up. It was set in a separate fantasy universe. I read it in English, and I read it in Australia.

It was a paperback with a white cover and had coloured writing and I think a picture of a hot air balloon. I borrowed it from my school library in 2013. I was 12 when I read it and it was age appropriate, I’d say ages 9-13. It was around 300 pages and I think it was a few years old at the time.

I remember loving it but because I borrowed it from a library I totally forgot about it! I’d love to read it again so any help would be super appreciated!
