LaurLa | 2378 comments I have a few (4 or 5) under 160pp books that I haven't added to the spreadsheet hoping to save room for everyone's longer books. But if we need me to add them as we get close to the end, let me know.

message 202: by Jackie (new)

Jackie | 2143 comments I have several books to add. Should I add all of them or concentrate on certain things?

message 203: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments Add them Jackie I’ll fit them in somewhere 😊

message 204: by Jackie (new)

Jackie | 2143 comments I'll get them added today. :)

message 205: by Jackie (new)

Jackie | 2143 comments I added all my books except for a couple with very few ingredients in the text. Still, some of the ones I added don't have a lot so feel free to remove them if we need the space.

message 206: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments My audio for Truly Devious came in so going to fit that in.

message 207: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments We’re @85 books at the moment

I really liked it. Hope you enjoy it!

message 209: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments Enjoying it so far.

message 210: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I have a couple books I didn't add if we need to fill that last space. I know today is the last day. Louise will you need help? Let me know, we might go out for a bit.

message 211: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments I thought the round ended on the 19th. If you could help

message 212: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Maybe it does, let me look.

message 213: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Sorry, Louise, it does end today and it looks like in 2 minutes so I'm not sure if I can help but I'll try!

message 214: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments I completely dropped the ball on this I've tried to fit as many books in as possible. Not sure why I thought this round ended on the 19th. Probably because I'd mixed it up with claiming the BOM for the round. Really sorry team. My messup has cost us points.

message 215: by Jackie (new)

Jackie | 2143 comments No worries, Louise!

message 216: by LaurLa (new)

LaurLa | 2378 comments Don't worry about it Louise! It's a lot to keep track of and you're doing us a favor taking it on!

message 217: by Snowtulip (new)

Snowtulip | 4679 comments No problem Louise!

message 218: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) What they said :)

message 219: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments Thanks guys, for some reason I though each round was a month, not 4 weeks.

message 220: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments We need to swap a child for an adult. We've been inundated with kids

message 221: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Damn, I was hoping the mushrooms would help with that. We have Jackie's BOM we can use, I just haven't messaged the mods yet.

message 222: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I messaged the mods.

message 223: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Once we get our score, I can edit this but until then, there are additional words to try to find in books this last round based on where we end up.

Score Round 3 Additions

4.25-5 Nice work! Customers are starting to take photos for Instagram and even doing Tik Tok videos outside!
Meals using books with the word "instagram", "chic", or "trendy" in the text or title, or used as a spell-it-out will attract more adults for round 3

3.25-4.24 You're doing well and locals are still testing you out. It will take a bit more though to attract a broader base of customers.
Meals using books with the word "local", "neighbourhood / neighborhood", or "quality" in the text or title, or used as a spell-it-out will attract more adults for round 3

2-3.24 Now known as "cheap and cheerful" you attract families which mean messy children.
Meals using books with the word "crayon", "mess", or "hectic" in the text or title, or used as a spell-it-out will attract more adults for round 3

0-1.9 Your chef quit. Try a new theme for round 3. Pensioners will be attracted to your restaurant, but you will need to work to get other groups in the door
Meals using books with the word "old", "refresh", or "retire" in the text or title, or used as a spell-it-out will attract more adults for round 3

message 224: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I am not sure what our score will be so I added every keyword for each score in my book and will remove what isn't needed once we know.

message 225: by LaurLa (new)

LaurLa | 2378 comments this is a dumb question but I've looked and must be missing it but.... did round 3 start on 11/15 or 11/16?

message 226: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I think it started Saturday right after round 2 ended. so 4 pm eastern

message 227: by LaurLa (new)

LaurLa | 2378 comments Stacie wrote: "I think it started Saturday right after round 2 ended. so 4 pm eastern"

That's what I thought but couldn't confirm it anywhere...

message 228: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I went and looked at the previous rounds and they started right when the others ended so I figured this was the same!

message 229: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Okay, our score for last round was 3.5.

3.25-4.24 You're doing well and locals are still testing you out. It will take a bit more though to attract a broader base of customers.
Meals using books with the word "local", "neighbourhood / neighborhood", or "quality" in the text or title, or used as a spell-it-out will attract more adults for round 3

We do not have to use the word in the meal name or description but just reporting the word will get us more adults for Round 3 so be on the look out for those words above and report them on the spreadsheet with the food items.

Ghost in the Stacks Sorry, but I think I am going to have to step out of this challenge. I just really dont have the time to look for all these words/items.

I wont have internet until tomorrow, but its a little overwhelming searching. So sorry

message 231: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Goodbye Paradise only has 279 pages but because Scribd is weird and I have to read it on my phone, that version says it is over 300 pages but it's not so my page numbers look weird on the spreadsheet.

message 232: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments No worries

message 233: by Snowtulip (last edited Nov 27, 2020 02:25PM) (new)

Snowtulip | 4679 comments Hhhmm....so...I was going to use one of my audiobooks and I went to google reads to search out my food to get page numbers...but google reads isn't listing page numbers any more.

Any work around for this?

message 234: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments When I come across that I reference the sentence. Make a note on the spreadsheet of the words I'm spending the weekend getting everything up-to date.

message 235: by Snowtulip (new)

Snowtulip | 4679 comments Thanks Louise, I'll list the words and then can reference the sentence if you use the words.

message 236: by Snowtulip (new)

Snowtulip | 4679 comments Looks like we only have one book over 500 pages, so I'll see if I can add some to my reading list.

message 237: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) ST, there are two and I'm working on a 3rd now :).

message 238: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments Stacie are you ok to help on completing the s/sheet. My brother plans on visiting on Saturday for a few hours so am not sure how much time I’ll have before deadline on Saturday

message 239: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I have no idea what to do but can help. can help before then too. can you just message me your process and I'll see what I can do? Saturdays are usually my off the computer day but let me know what I'll need to do and if you want me to start before then.

message 240: by Snowtulip (new)

Snowtulip | 4679 comments Stacie wrote: "ST, there are two and I'm working on a 3rd now :)."

Awesome, I'll just work my vinegar books then.

message 241: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Louise, I sent you a message. I don't know what I did wrong but two of the books I used are just not registering that I used them.

message 242: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Louise, you're my hero. I'm exhausted from putting meals in for the past 90 minutes and have so much more to do so I don't know how you've done it all along.

message 243: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments Stacie wrote: "Louise, I sent you a message. I don't know what I did wrong but two of the books I used are just not registering that I used them."

I fixed the one, love from A to Z; which is the other one. It’s generally a formula that is looking in the wrong cell that’s at fault

message 244: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I fixed it.

I have to stop for now but there's a few books left. I'll try and do more later so there isn't a lot to do tomorrow.

message 245: by Louise (new)

Louise | 3331 comments Good job Stacie

message 246: by Jackie (new)

Jackie | 2143 comments Thanks to both of you for all your hard work on this challenge!

message 247: by LaurLa (new)

LaurLa | 2378 comments Jackie wrote: "Thanks to both of you for all your hard work on this challenge!"

Definitely!!! Thank-you!

message 248: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I'm going to be selfish and ask if everyone can try to have their books in by noon eastern tomorrow so I don't have to scramble last minute and can still stay off the computer a lot of the day like usual. If that's too much trouble, let me know and I can work with you. I'm going to go put the rest of the books into meals now.

message 249: by Snowtulip (new)

Snowtulip | 4679 comments Thanks Louise and Stacie!

message 250: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) We have space for 10 more books so if anyone has anything they didn't list, please do so.
