SOLVED. YA Fantasy book is about a princess who is about to be betrothed, then a shapeshifter dragon comes to burn down her kingdom. [s]

I read this in 2019, it’s YA. In the book the princess also has an enchanted forest (that’s forbidden) that she goes to with a bridge, leading from her castle’s yard into the forest. One day she finds a man there too I think, eventually this man comes to be the one who saves her. The dragon is a shapeshifter and he comes to attack her kingdom, but I think he will resist if the princess gives him her hand in marriage, she refuses, but her father the king says yes I think. Anyways, the dragon eventually burns the whole castle to the ground. The princess turns into a dragon at one point, but thanks to her “prince” she is turned back to a princess. Okay I think that’s all I remember.
