Another meaty read, but I'm going to take it easy in the coming weeks due to resuming classes. I figured I would delve into more of Dickens' work. I have already read A Christmas Carol, and would like to branch out a bit and become more familiar with his other works. There have been several film adaptations over the years, going back to the 1920s. One that I watched in class was a made-for-tv movie from the 80's featuring Chris Sarandon in the leading role(s) (better known as the speaking voice of Jack Skellington and Prince Humperdink).

Just finished. It was a bit dry for my taste, but there were some good take away quotes. I also enjoyed the social commentaries and historical context of the French Revolution. 2/5
