As we get quite close to the end of the book, the story we think we have been reading gets turned upside down and things become confusing. Finally in Serenity's final chapter, everything is revealed to us.

Did you find yourself trying to make sense of it? Did you replay scenes and events in your head to make them fit with the new reality of the story?

Did the ending leave you with more questions than answers?

Karen Leonard (karen1278) | 428 comments Since, it was a quick read I just might re-visit the book. I would like to read the water/house scene again and maybe try to pick up more of Thomas' character/psychotic tendencies.

Anna (iudita) | 450 comments You know what I thought was weird??? At the beginning of the book when Jenna is trying to find Virgil, she is told that he is dead. Then all of the sudden, she finds him alive and kicking. It seemed so disjointed to me. There was no explanation. Well now we know why?

Anna (iudita) | 450 comments I definitely replayed scenes in my head, to the point where it was overwhelming because almost everything was different than what you thought it was. I've never read a book with a twist that was as far reaching as this one.
