I need help findinf a book I've read before.
It was about a military guy who i think was injured and recovering. He used to get letters from this little girl and in her last letter she asked for help.
Its also about a single mom who is hoding her daughter from the baby father for some reason. She meets the soldier at a diner where he tracked them down to. Thats all i can rememeber. Please help!

I read a book years ago and I’d love to read it again but I can’t remember the author or title.
It was about a woman being rescued from. An evil group but her rescuer knows that to protect lots of others, he has to give her back,knowing she will be tortured. Can anyone help
