so, the front cover had an illustration of the three orphans, mostly dark cool colors. The older brother had blonde hair with the scarf that his mother gave him. The middle son had a nice looking suit on and dark black hair. And the younger daughter had a school uniform on, Also had black hair. All these were in their teens. Turns out that the father, after the mother dies, sends the children to stay with someone while he’s on a business trip. There is also a cat involved. But they get sent to live temporarily with someone, who lives in a castle? There’s a forest and an ocean. I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the book! I believe they get the cat from a taxidermist?
