Billy Young | 12 comments Teddy the Bear was writen simply for my son who was afraid when he was younger that something was after him. It would hide in his closet till he was alone he'd tell me. So to make him feel safe I made up my tale of Teddy. It worked and after that he had no more trouble from monsters hiding in the closet or under the bed for that matter. Hopefully other children shall love it a much as my son as well as his little sister did.

Billy Young | 12 comments Just waiting for my new book A Winter Journey to get onto Amazon and other online retailers. This one though is not a children's book but but one for the adult market and you should find it in the horror section as it has a little bit of a ghostly twist to it. I hope you'll check it out, you'll find a link to it here on Goodreads so take a chance you might enjoy it.

Billy Young | 12 comments Finished the first draft of my new story last night so now I working on adding more detail to it as I rewrite most of it. I still have to come up with a title as well as at the moment I have just called it Banshee but think I need a better name for it.

Thorina | 6 comments hi there-- I'm a new author. I just published a "graphic novel" i.e.: illustrated memoir, called "The Heartbreak Diet". This book deals in a humorous way, how I dealt with the discovery of my husband's infidelity. Anyway, the book is starting to get reviewed, and I'm trying to figure out how to utilize the blogophere. Would love to get some tips, as that's a whole new area for me. My publisher doesn't believe in book tours-- "no one goes to readings"-- so it seems like its up to me to promote. Has this been your experience as well? Would love to chat.

Billy Young | 12 comments My web site can be found at www.billyyoungsbooks.co.uk Civilla. Yes Thorina I do have to do my own promoting of my books which is not easy thats why I got my website and have a blog on that. Though I only recently got my site I am finding it a lot of work and I have yet to see it help in the way of sales of my books but it is good when I see people are looking at my site.
