who is the original author? Which name was the book first published under Prescott or Harper, the editions all have different primary authors - this needs sorting out prior to the books being merged.

Re-release still technically Harper, except cover has Michael Prescott in large print w/ smaller 'writing as'.
I didn't combine all editions b/c solely based on dates, those who shelved blank/placeholder edition probably want the re-release vs. orig pub in 1995. Figured deletion would default to next-up edition (either Kindle or ebook).
To make later combine easy, I fixed names for those editions. E.g., see Kindle @ www.goodreads.com/book/show/18871214-... and therefore, combine page shows this: www.goodreads.com/book/combine/388494

In both these cases the most popular edition is not using an ISBN. However the cover art and publisher indicate it is the Japanese edition. Beam Comics is the magazine the series is released in. エンターブレイン (Enterbrain) is however the proper company name for the publisher.

*nods* Yes, always lovely to have that in theory. But edition to be merged had same name. And failure to have same doesn't preclude a combine so long as person doing combine can readily find applicable editions, no? Which was my primary concern at time of posting.

Please remove: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...I was adding a new edition, managed to hit Enter instead of Backspace, and thus it was created by accident. The edition I wanted to add has now been added separately, so this one is entirely superfluous.

Edit: the first of these books is done, after a second attempt, but the second has a lot of reviews to combine (2k), so seems to be taking a while longer. I'll check back on it later.
Edit 2: many hours later and it appears that the second is finally gone too!

Not having the same primary author name on all editions causes problems and it is GR policy that the same name is used on all editions. Books with different primary author names should not be combined and I certainly would not merge a book where other editions had different names before sorting those out
Done. As it happens, it appears that your hardcover may have already existed, here, but as it was added on Amazon without an ISBN it makes it difficult to be certain.
