Yoshina | 6 comments This book is #1 in the series The tales of Dunk and Egg. It is falsely labelled as including #1-3 of the series. Tried to fix this myself but failed.

Also there seem to be other mixups between the original novels and the comic adaptions with some editions being in the wrong series respectively.

Arenda | 26450 comments I'm not personally familiar with this series, but it looks like the numbering of #1-3 is correct.

Based on Wikipedia:
Tales of Dunk and Egg is a series of fantasy novellas by George R. R. Martin, set in the world of his A Song of Ice and Fire novels.
Three novellas have been published – The Hedge Knight (1998), The Sworn Sword (2003), and The Mystery Knight (2010). A collection of the existing three novellas, with illustrations by Gary Gianni, was published as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on October 6, 2015.

This matches with the GR series page, which numbers the novellas #1, #2 and #3, and the collection #1-3.

When I look at the German edition that you linked, Amazon DE has a preview of the copyright page and the index, stating that this book contains:
- Der Heckenritter (Hedge Knight)
- Das verschworene Schwert (The Sworn Sword)
- Der geheimnisvolle Ritter (The Mystery Knight)

(It looks like the novellas were not published separately in German, only in the anthology they were originally published in, in this collected edition and as graphic novel adaptations.)

I'll see if I can find it, but it would be helpful to include link(s) to an example.

ETA: not really found anything. Added Ben Avery as primary author on some adaptations. Separated three Dutch graphic novel editions that were incorrectly combine with the original novellas.

Yoshina | 6 comments I don't have the german edition here so I can't prove it one way or another, I only know when I read it it included only the first novella (The hedge knight). But since there are no other editions of Sworn Sword and Mystery Knight in german it seems you are right. Looking into it again I suppose the old single edition which I read some time ago is no longer available, but the new edition probably used the same cover illustration, but includes now #1-3.

In short: Sorry^^'

Yoshina | 6 comments About the graphic novels:

9781932796063 seems to be a comic.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is one of several books with the same cover which seem to be the short stories. I never held either one in my hand so of course I can't tell for sure. Mayhaps the first IS the comic and the others DO contain the short stories. But it seemed unlikely to me when I first came across that. I won't make any comments about books I haven't read anymore though^^'''
