Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I loved the story. Sean and Lucy both grew in their relationship and discovered they were a great team. I think they both know that their relationship is not going to be easy, but if they trust each other it will last.

This was a puzzler! Took me a while to figure out what was truly going on. Very much enjoyed it.

One other thing I failed to mention...

Lucy followed Sean’s instructions not to share the info about Bobbie with the FBI folks and held it back from Noah for about an hour. Noah was furious but I loved how he made his case to Lucy about how wrong she was to comply. It was a defining moment for her.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments This book was not a favorite for me. I did like the mystery, especially discovering the identity of the body in the mine and figuring out who exactly was in on the crimes.

I didn't like that once again we had Lucy and her problems. In the first book she was understandably upset because of the deal given to one of the guys who had nabbed her. In the second book she was upset because her application for FBI didn't get approved. In this book she couldn't tell Sean she loved him and was upset that he was holding back. In turn, Sean was jealous of Noah. I hope they can work out there problems and not have them crop up in every book.

Question - Did anyone ever catch up with Gary Clarke and Andy Knolls? I remember them looking for Ricky, but don't remember what happened after that.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I really enjoyed this one. I thought that the suspense was great. We went from one situation to another. I was getting a little frustrated with Lucy not being able to tell Sean that she loved him even though he said it over and over. I'm hoping that they will be able to sort out their life together. I'm thinking there will be situations that will cause them problems because Lucy will need to follow the rules and Sean isn't very good at complying with rules.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I really liked the story line and all the action. I agree with Robin, though. I'm hoping we get away from Lucy's problems and her self conscience attitude. She's good and needs to remember that. I'm sort of tired of hearing about what happened to her.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I agree with Robin and Melissa, I hope that we aren't treated to a rehash of Lucy's rape in every book in this series.
