i wstched the movie first then read the book. I think books have
interesting and funnier datails and show the nature of character
better.

JMO though!

The movie casting was phenomenal as well as the movie "characters." Movie Lara Jean was a bit more mature, without taking away from the intentional "immaturity" that was the entire crux of the story. Movie Noah was more likable and way more charming which meant I was rooting more for him and LJ as a couple. Movie kitty was freaking fantastic. I was definitely left wanting more, as is always the case when comparing movies/novels- especially when I found there was a 3rd part of the story not yet made into a movie. Reading the books, I brought the "movie characters" with me, which was good because I otherwise may have found LJ to be a bit whiny and Noah to be a bit less sympathetic.

in the movies for me is another person. i actually borgot the books because of the first movie which i adored! she is portrayed being a sweet girl, and since in the movie i don't know her every single thought, for me she is just a normal girl. a little naive, but normal.
i don't even have the will for reading the rest of the books (i bought all 3 because it was a sale). i was even surprised at myself because i have never liked the movie more than the book. EVER! but i guess there's always a first time.

Hm this is a kinda hard. I've read all 3 books and watched both movies. I loved the movies, they are some of my favorite movies and because of Noah Centineo ( who doesn't love him!?) But I really loved the books! I like the characters better in the books, and the plot. So I think I like the books better!
