Rod Brown (rodbrown) | 184 comments The editions for The Emotional Load: And Other Invisible Stuff and The Mental Load: A Feminist Comic seem to have been combined together as if they were all the same work. They are all listed here, intermingled: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio....

I've read them both, and they are definitely different books.

Please separate them out.

Thank you!

Rod Brown (rodbrown) | 184 comments Okay, I've done some additional research, and there are several distinct works all combined here inappropriately.

The original works appeared in French as a series called "Un autre regard." Those works are:
Tome 1: Un autre regard: Trucs en vrac pour voir les choses autrement
Tome 2: Un autre regard - tome 2
Tome 3: La charge émotionnelle et autres trucs invisibles
Tome 4: Des princes pas si charmants et autres illusions à dissiper ensemble
Unnumbered tome: Un autre regard sur le climat

The English translations each combined two of the original tomes.
The Mental Load: A Feminist Comic contains tomes 1 and 2.
The Emotional Load: And Other Invisible Stuff contains tomes 3 and 4.

The Italian book, Bastava chiedere!: 10 storie di femminismo quotidiano, is its own beast, containing translated selections from tomes 1-3.

I couldn't find enough information about the Portugese book, A Carga Mental e outras desigualdades invisíveis, to tell which portions of the original French series it may contain.

Arenda | 26447 comments Thank you for the research. I've separated them, and updated the series page: https://www.goodreads.com/series/2882...

I can't find more info about the Portuguese edition. The page count seems somewhere between a single and a double book, so I've separated it from the other editions. (For comics/graphic novels page counts are usually an indicator about the content.)

Thank you so much for bringing order to such a mess!
