Stacy Monahan | 2 comments I thought this book was named The Gift, but can’t find it under that name. Three siblings had a grandma who was basically like a real life fairy grandmother. Gifted each of them with a talent. The brother’s was music. I forget one sister’s talent, but the protagonist sister was clairvoyant. The story was about how having these talents didn’t create a clear path for any of them and they still had to choose who they were and wanted to be. The brother, who was basically the best musician in the world, ended up working in dive bars playing piano for pocket money because even with his talent, he didn’t have the focus or interest to make it big. The protagonist became a SAHM who always knew where her kids were. Maybe her sister’s gift was brains? Not sure, but think maybe her sister became a doctor. For some reason I think maybe it was set in FL? I might be making that part up...
