L. (girlfriendofbath) | 7 comments Hello,

I went to create a new series, but every time I hit "add series" I was just brought back to the homepage. I'm guessing it's a permissions thing? If so, could you kindly create a new series called " Romancing the Holidays " with the following books:

Romancing the Holidays, Book #1: Lucky Fall

Romancing the Holidays, Book #2: Pawsitively Perfect

Thank you!

Only Librarians can create or add to series.

I'll review this

1. Will these have connecting characters?

2. Will these all be novellas?

3. Also, it's important to know that when you add a new edition, that "ebooks" available from Amazon use ASIN, and must be designated as Kindle editions. I changed your ebook editions which had ASINs to Kindles. If they are not Kindle editions but really are ebooks, then they should have ISBNs.

L. (girlfriendofbath) | 7 comments 1. Only 2 of the 4 (there are two more coming out later this year) will have connecting characters. All are stand-alones

2. Yes, they are all novellas.

3. Okay. noted. If Amazon automatically imports the titles, does this happen?

Thank you!

Only the books with connecting characters will be considered a series. by Goodreads definition.

The automatic import from Amazon should import as Kindle editions.

L. (girlfriendofbath) | 7 comments Okay, I understand. They are listed as a series on Amazon since each book covers a different holiday (with the four of them spanning an entire year), and since there will be a paperback anthology released with the last release. But if that's the rule, then that's the rule. Thank you.

Let us know which 2 are connected, and we can certainly make that into a series.

Amazon is a retail site, and has entirely different conventions for series than Goodreads.

I made a small edit to these two books' descriptions as a suggestion for a possible way to connect these books. You can edit it out if you like, but it's a possibility.
