Ladyhawk Depends on what type of book I'm looking for actually. I get book recommendations from BookBub.com and bookperks.com daily. They send me a list of books on sale that match the reading preferences I selected with them.
I usually choose Amazon from the list of stores to buy from and the link will take me straight to that book where I can check book reviews. I then either buy it and have it sent to my ipad, put on my wish list or pass on it. Most of these will be in Kindle format.

If am just searching on amazon, I just select books from the drop down search menu and type in the name or author to start searching.
I like how it suggests other books similar to what I am looking at. I find some great series that way and can put them on my wish list there as well as Goodreads.
