Russell's favorite, Deadline, is my favorite for the year so far, and Karen's Die Again is in my top 10, also. They are both my favorites in their respective series, also.
I have LOVED Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King so far this year. It was so good and kept me on the edge of my seat.
Favorite books Jan thru April this year:The Lord of Death
The Birds of Pandemonium (not a thriller, in fact it's non-fiction, but I loved this book.)
Guardians of the Night
My top four so far this year.
The Enemy by Tom Wood
Taunting The Dead by Mel Sherratt
Relentless Savage by Dave Edlund
Ultimatum by Simon kernick
But lots of my books have been four stars, these all five

Totally recommended! A brilliant mix between financial, spy and geopolitical thriller! If you go to http://icarusprediction.com/ and suscribe to the mailing list you can get a copy for free. :)
So many good thrillers in 2015! My favorites include "The Water Knife" about the inevitable? deterioration of water rights arguments in the American Southwest; Todd Moss's new Africa thriller about politics and US government chaos; and The Cartel--Don Winslow's heartbreaking novel about the Mexican narcotraficantes and the inestimable damage of Americans' "victimless" drug use. Review of The Water Knife and The Cartel are on this site (Moss's "Minute Zero" coming soon).
Some of my favorites so far this year are:The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson
The Second Captive by Maggie James
Swerve by Vicki Pettersson
The Magician's Lie by Greer Macallister
The Church of Marvels by Leslie Parry
So far this year I have loved:Rage Against The Dying
Fear the Darkness (both by Becky Masterman)
Pretty Girls- Karin Slaughter
Currently reading Career of Evil- Robert Galbraith but already know it will be a favorite!
Thanks, Chelsea. I will probably do a top ten list at the end of the year. So many good ones this year!!
My best 2015 reads are: 22-11-63, Shining, Carrie by Stephen King, and No Way Home by Patricia MacDonald.
Next year i want to read more Simon Kernick, James Patterson and discover Mo Hayder and Karin Slaughter...
Aymen you won't be disappointed with Karin Slaughter! I'm a big fan of some of James Patterson's work even though he gets a lot of hate.
Oh that's so hard... Most of them are part of a hybrid series she has (grant county/will trent). The first book is called Blindsighted and it is excellent. She also has a couple of standalones- Coptown and Pretty Girls. Both of those were good. Pretty Girls was fast paced and truly a thriller but very disturbing and lots of graphic violence.
I just took Blindsighted out of the library this week based on a previous recommendation of yours, Chelsea! I'm looking forward to reading one of her works. I'll probably purchase Pretty Girls after reading this one.
