Victoria | 29 comments So many good thrillers in 2015! My favorites include "The Water Knife" about the inevitable? deterioration of water rights arguments in the American Southwest; Todd Moss's new Africa thriller about politics and US government chaos; and The Cartel--Don Winslow's heartbreaking novel about the Mexican narcotraficantes and the inestimable damage of Americans' "victimless" drug use. Review of The Water Knife and The Cartel are on this site (Moss's "Minute Zero" coming soon).

message 37: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea Humphrey (suspensethrill) | 129 comments Aymen you won't be disappointed with Karin Slaughter! I'm a big fan of some of James Patterson's work even though he gets a lot of hate.

message 38: by Aymen (new)

Aymen Ben cheikh Thank you Chelsea, i heard good things about her, what are your favorite books of her??

message 39: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea Humphrey (suspensethrill) | 129 comments Oh that's so hard... Most of them are part of a hybrid series she has (grant county/will trent). The first book is called Blindsighted and it is excellent. She also has a couple of standalones- Coptown and Pretty Girls. Both of those were good. Pretty Girls was fast paced and truly a thriller but very disturbing and lots of graphic violence.

message 40: by Aymen (new)

Aymen Ben cheikh Thank you Chelsea, i ll start with these ones :)

Chelsea Humphrey (suspensethrill) | 129 comments You're welcome! Let me know how you like them once you get started. :)
