Sky | 1291 comments Greetings from New Orleans! Well somewhere over New Mexico currently.

I like Nira and Oshi - There is some back story I am getting, some human leaches (The Atmani) that went crazy and destroyed their empire, sometime after the war with the Csestriim? And they are the two remaining? The book Adare's father bequeathed to her was "History of the Atmani". And it was during the Atmani war that the two Csestriim abducted all the children. Anyways Nira's foul mouth is pretty funny.

Valyln's wing's encounter with Flea's wing was great. Not sure what is going to happen to them now that Pyrre killed one. Seems like any hope for an alliance died along with Finn.

The Ishien are crazy. So they reach Vaniatte through pain and torturing themselves instead of training the mind. Its a wonder Tan survived the training and came out coherent and sane.

I am still not convinced Triste is Csestriim. It's too easy. With her beauty, seems more like she may be Navariim

Bill | 1596 comments I like Nira and Oshi also. Seems like the leach lords were pretty powerful and would make awesome allies.

The scene between the Kettrel was well done. I'm really interested to see what Pyrre's deal is.

The Ishien scene was strange and I don't really know what to expect from them. Really hope Triste manages to get away and is not Csestriim. Agree it is too easy.

I really hope one of the siblings manages to catch a break and have their plans work out.

Suzanne | 1582 comments Good connection of Nira and Oshi with the book Sky. I like them too.

I was sad that Valyn's wing had rift with Flea's, but I thought it was well done - and realistic in that sometimes just dumb actions cause needless conflict.

I bet Triste is Navariim too. She has potential as an interesting character and I she gets developed further.

I don't like the Ishien at all - besides the general creepiness, they are dirty and don't seem self-disciplined. Not at all what I expected.

Nira and Oshi have made Adare's story more interesting, but I'm still disapointed in Adare herself. I totally didnt make a connection between the book and them. Nice pickup Sky.

Things have picked up a lot this section at least. The confrontation with the Flea was good. Really curious why he was holding back on killing them.

Im wondering how he's going to write himself out of the hole he put Kaden in.

Laurel | 41 comments There was a point when Triste when all cold and emotionless when Tan had a spear at her throat after they went through the gate - I don't think she is Csestriim - I'm inclined to agree with you guys that she might be Navariim - but that was definitely weird.

I'm wondering why Oshi and Nira are on this pilgrimage then if they are the last surviving Atmani?? I know Oshi is losing his mind but there's got to be more to it than that?

I thought they gave a reason for that in this section, but maybe it's the next one. Now whether it's a true reason, or the complete reason, I'm not so sure..
