Mary Salles | 12 comments A friend is trying to remember about this book, but she only know the story. The author is male, the last name reminds her about trees (wood, paper...). Takes place in Florida, a girl and a boy almost die in a school bus accident (it fell on a river/lake). After that she had many scars and the boy suffered damages that prevents him to play baseball, then they create a co-dependency relationship, in the begining plantonic but then becomes obsessive. The book is written by the pov of a new girl on their school, who thinks the relationship veeeery weird (the others don't mind at all). SPOILER AHEAD SPOILER AHEAD ABOUT THE END WARNING: the two commit suicide in the end. END OF SPOILER
The cover is half black and half white, similar to Paradox Love (by Dorothy Gravelle).

And sorry for any mistakes, it's really late here and english isn't my first language xD PLEASE HEEEEEEEEELP ME *going crazy*

Mary, give it a little time. You've had 37 viewers so far, just no one that knows it.

Now for a few questions:
1) what language did you read this in? Do you think it might have been translated from another language?
2) Does she remember when she read this?
3) Could the "tree" name be something like Forrester, Forest, Oak, Yew, Beech, Palmer etc.
4) What age group is the book aimed at--YA (based on the age of the people involved, I'm assuming YA) or was it for younger children or for adults?
5) Does it say why the 2 committed suicide?

Mary Salles | 12 comments Sorry, it's the anxiety, we've been looking for this book like crazy and I might have lost a little... I'll calm down xD

About the questions:
1) she read it in english, probably isn't a trasnlation.
2) she read it about 4 years ago.
3) could be... is something related to tree
4) It's a YA book.
5) She didn't, I just asked her about this info.
