What are your early thoughts and impressions?
(Please save any spoilers for the "Final Conclusions" discussion -- thanks!)

Susan These stories are fascinating insights into how Jews live their lives. Each one is different, and the overall tone is much different than that of Kaddish.com.

Thanks for leading off, Susan!
This may have been a former book club book for me but if so I really need to reread. Hmm... 2012... could have been, but not on my bookshelves! I have it, though. Sent for a used copy shortly after it won.

I remembered it was For the Relief of Unberarable Urges that I read with a former book club, not this one.

Will try one shortly. I can be put off by short stories, and maybe some other people are in the same boat.

Would love to hear from some of the people who voted it in, maybe to encourage me!
