27% (view spoiler)[ I am just over 100 pages into this book and I am already loving it I like it more than the book it is inspired by so far. I love the characters so much especially Ama and Luca I love the relationship they have it is obvious they like each other but neither of them has done anything about those feelings. I love Ama for her take charge no one will rule me attitude I love how strong a character she is she is willing to go to any lengths to save the one she loves. I love Luca for his gentle and warm nature as well as how he believes so strongly in Ama. I am loving the plot so far what has happened is her father has died and she has to marry to take the throne she refuses to do that so they try to force her hand and kidnap the person she loves Luca so she will go to any lengths to rescue him herself. So overall I am loving this book will read more soon. (hide spoiler)]

55% (view spoiler)[ I am currently 201 pages into this book and I love it so much and I stand by the fact this book is so much better than the book it was inspired from. I still really love the characters especially Ama and Luca I love their relationship has finally bloomed and she has found and saved him. Luca is such a great person he would even care about the people who held him captive and the faith he had in her was very much justified. I am loving the plot Ama has caught up she goes in to rescue him fights the captures some other things happen and she finds out he has been bitten by a deadly snake and now the race is on to find the antivenom as soon as possible. The other characters meet up with the bad guy Renard they find out some stuff Renard kills someone and they go after Ama. So overall I am loving this book will read more soon. (hide spoiler)]

84% (view spoiler)[ I am 308 pages into this book and loving it not much to go until I get to the ending. I still really love Ama and Luca and I also like many of the other characters Ula and her group are also very interesting characters. I love the relationship between Ama and Luca they go through thick and thin for each other Ama would do anything even marry someone she hates just so he could live. I a loving the plot first Ama manages to cure Luca they run away and run into Renard who threatens Luca says he will kill him if she does not marry him Ama agrees to save the man she loves. Things are not going well Ama is depressed and Luca is being tortured by the other prince Ula and the rest wait for the prince to leave before they help him. Ula then says they will figure something out and he will be back with his princess, Meanwhile Ama is preparing to lose everything. So overall I am loving this book will finish it soon. 100% (view spoiler)[ I am now finished I loved everything about this book there was nothing I did not like about it at all. I loved many of the characters Ama and Luca I loved their romance so much I really like Ula she was such a well written character. I loved the plot and how it leads into the net book with something I did not expect at all. From where I left off Ama is on her way to kill Renard and die in the process thinking Luca is dead. She manages to kill him and fight after that Luca and Ula and one more arrive they fight their way out and head to Ula's ship and are now heading to somewhere they would be able to save her Kingdom and another. So overall I loved this book and I am really looking forward to the nex t one. (hide spoiler)]

Clearly, this is no ordinary storybook. And no ordinary princess. Though poor Amarande, alone on her quest to save her BFF. Though, why didn't her own people want to track her down and rescue her? Satordi seemed to be so concerned about what would happen to the kingdom if she didn't go through with the Council's plans... would they be better of if she died? Or at least, disappeared? Where Amarande has an ex-enemy girl posse (such that it is) encouraging her to fight for true love. I don't believe that Renard and his brother were actually responsible for Luca's kidnapping...but if it was General Koldo (as was intimated earlier, why? And what's going on with her now? After everything she's been through Amarande deserves to be queen. Unless she doesn't want to be queen and hates royal politics enough that she's okay letting her illegitimate half-brother be king. Plus, Tallifer is still alive, and he really needs to die. So, the book was good, but I'm reserving final judgement until I finish the series (hide spoiler)].
