Okay you two :P

I came across an article about an artist, October Jones, who leaves motivational post-it notes on the train featuring Peppy the Inspirational Cat.
So with that in mind, here's Peppy's message for you today:

I'd love to see people's faces when they sit down on the train and find one of these 'peppy' notes waiting for them!
Where do you sign up for a job like that? If I rode a train/subway every day....I might steal this idea ;)
Morning all!
Thanks Q..smh

Hi Renee, Sarah, and Dee!
Dee, you are ALWAYS made of awesome! What? Im being nice..there's no joke coming. Relax. ;)

Hope you're all well!I would like to ask for your opinion on something I recently discovered for myself. It's been 3 years I am on GR and by checking out my selves today I finally understood how my taste in books has changed since 2013 .Oh, and I am talking about quite drastic changes. Some of my 2013 high-rated books are now completely indifferent to me. Have you experienced something like this?

I know, right? *grin*

Good to know I am not the only one Quentin! Really thanks for cheering me up. I was kinda mad at myself actually for the soo quick ratings I gave then and the not so professional reviews! **control freak over here**

Thanks Q..smh

Hey Savvina :)
I think reading tastes can and do change over time for many people and this is something I've heard from others, so you're definitely not alone.
I've experienced this (mind you, not to the same extent as you) with some books that I used to enjoy in the past, while others I devoured back then still remain favorites.
I like to read across the genres, even as I have my faves, so I've noticed over the years that some books fall by the wayside never to be read again, while others feel like old friends that return when I'm ready to rediscover them once more.

Thank you very much Q for your nice words! But LOL!Almost every single 2013 review of mine includes me either wanting to reread the books or get amazed by it!They aren't for sure my best ones! But anyway thank you!
Hello, my beautiful friend! (Donna ;))
Savvi, it happens to me all the time. I learned that when I gave other genres a chance, I actually liked and had been missing out. Now I will read anything!!

@Sarah, hey! Stop inserting Donna's name into your greeting, you knew I wanted to pretend you meant me LOL

You know what? The way I see it, you read and reviewed according to who you were and what you felt and/or knew back then. No need to be down on yourself, hon. Tastes change, as do our perspectives on certain things, and it's all good.
And it's not like you can't change your reviews or rate them differently now if you so choose. I've seen a number of people do this and indicate the change, either decreasing or increasing the ratings, because they realized a few things along the way and/or with a reread.
Nothing's set in stone!

Thank you very much Renee for answering :)
Well, you got me at the last paragraph, I love to read across the genres too and that honestly helped me a lot on many different ways. I got started with YA, but now you can see me talking for Classics or Mysteries even Biographies, a genre I thought I would never pick up!
Anyway,my point is I "matured" as a reader too,now I have far more experience with quite many genres. Now I can spot those way too predictable endings on books as well as those love triangles I grew to hate in those 3 years.
Again, thanks for letting me know I am not the only one! ;)

I was just anticipating the next move. :)"
Rats! Well, at least it will keep you on your toes! :P
