Hope everyone is having a great day and has a great weekend!
(Oh, long lost Sarah has returned too!)

Happy Saturday, Kat!
Love the Nick GIF in boogey down mode! *grin*
Thanks Q!

Speaking of long lost, It's Oak! Same to you Oak!
@Sarah, when you go away for a full day, you become long lost lol

Isn't it great? That show cracks me up! Some wonderfully touching and romantic moments too.
I'm behind by at least a season, but hey, this is me so what else is new? ;)
My husband and I recently watched Wallander (with Kenneth Branagh), Cracker (with Robbie Coltrane) and got caught up on Season 4 of Downton Abbey. I've got Season 5 on hold at the library and can't wait (Even though...uh... I have to! Ha!)
We'll be catching up the most recent season re: Game of Thrones soon but I have to admit I'm pretty darn nervous about that one! I've heard the rumbling and grumblings and I know it's going to be super dark so I'm trying to prepare myself for what's to come...

My dear Renee, how was season 3 and 4 overall of Downton Abbey?!?I really need to caught up too but I have some doubts!

I really enjoyed them, Savvina. I'm fascinated by all the character dynamics, the consequences of people's actions, all the stories that so often interconnect in fascinating ways.
There have been some unexpected surprises, even some dark and difficult things that I know caused some controversy -- but that's also part of what makes it so compelling for me. This whole upstairs/downstairs aspect and how different people's lives and experiences are...
Where are you doubts coming from? Did your feelings change while you were watching the show? Did you hear some things that bothered you or you weren't sure about?
I read online recently that some people felt the show wasn't as good as it was in the beginning. I find this is a common complaint when it comes to most shows and people are entitled to their opinions, of course, and have their reasons for them.
That being said, I am still intrigued by it and looking forward to more! :)

It's definitely one of my favourite series and exactly because of that upstairs/downstairs vibe!
The thing is when I tried to caught up it was during school so naturally I preferred to take nap than watch it because I was exhausted all the time.Anyway my new series obsession (THE MUSKETEERS [BBC]) second season is quickly ending (well,it's already done,I am slowly catching up) so I need a new show!Downton Abbey is next now ;)
Well the doubts came from the fans, saying that the following seasons aren't that good!
Thank you by the way,you really got me excited now ;)

Hmmm. Well, it's all subjective, isn't it?
I mean you may find you really like them once you start watching them again or you may find yourself agreeing with some of the fans that it's not as good as it used to be.
I wouldn't say it's better than when it first began. I'd say that it's still quite good and I'm still interested because I personally love more character driven shows. You'll only know for sure what you think once you begin the journey for yourself. I hope you'll really enjoy it and that I'm not leading you astray here! *grin*
I love BBC TV - I haven't watched The Musketeers but I'm going to see if they have it in at the library so I can check it out!
Have you ever watched Luther or Sherlock? Some brilliant stuff there too...

I really can't wait to start!
BBC never disappoints me!
Sherlock??INFINITE LOVE!
Luther??GOD!GENIUS!
The Musketeers??I am just going to say ARAMIS!

*LMBO!*
I see you're a total fan of some of my faves!
Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are amazing as Sherlock and Dr. Watson and I just love watching them in action! (Check out the newest pic re: Season 4!)

*
Luther - oh Luther! So brilliant, wounded and intriguing. Just incredible stuff.
And his dynamics with the ever so dangerous Alice? Fascinating...

*
As for Aramis? Very nice...
Definitely must look into this further! *grin*

And I totally agree with the fascination and the action of Sherlock and more specific of the pair Benedict&Martin <3
Oh,and just look at ARAMIS!

Oh, I'm looking! *LOL*
I've just learned from a quick Google search that the character's name is René de Herblay aka Aramis (played by Santiago Cabrera).
He's got a cool name if I do say so myself! Ha ha! ;)
I like Santiago, too!

(god!the others will think I am crazy)"
*LOL*
Very generous of you, thank you!
(And look, I get to share my gift with everyone else! How about that? ;)
