I've definitely done a lot of novellas and YA this time around, especially in the last round - way too many pesky letters in our word to try for big page counts

The last week of wheel has also driven me into a reading frenzy. That combined with no work this week and insomnia, haha.
I did not read a single page on Saturday and it felt GREAT! The end of wheel really took it out of me...

Final tally:Total: 520 pages + 93.5 hours audio over 12 books.
Totally insane. I'm definitely taking today off! lol.
Nice going Sammy! Thanks everyone for participating! This is my last RAT that I'm hosting as I've stepped down from the mod group to be a regular member again. Hopefully Aiswrya or one of the other new mods will continue hosting the read a thons as we ve had lots of fun with them.
Oh bummer, Laura! Thank you for hosting all of these for us. I hope you can relax and enjoy being a regular member again without the moderator duties and responsibilities.
Sorry to hear that Laura. You have been a great host. Hopefully you get some rest and enjoy just being a regular member.
I ended with 4,836 pages read and I am taking a breeeeeeaaaaaaak. It was fun participating with you all, and thanks so much to Laura for hosting!
I finished - 4 books and 2,023 pages. Not the most I've ever read but I'm proud of myself. All of my books qualified for one of the mini challenges also! Good job y'all!
Awww, sorry to hear it Laura, you've been a fab host! But enjoy all the extra time you can now spend actually reading, rather than keeping us rabble in line :D
We’ll definitely keep these going :) the next one is going to be closely tied to the next team challenge 😉
I missed the fun this month, but will be on the next one for sure! And Laura, you were a fab host!!!
If you need to join a support group to dealing with the new reality of being a regular member, lemme know.

And having the readathon work with the challenge is a good idea... some of us lose the plot a little when it comes to challenges *cough* and need all the help they can get, lol!

Most of the days, yes.
Unless when I'm being kept in the dark about team challenges.... that is the hard part.
This wheelathon almost broke me, because I wasn't a mod, nor a team captain. My inner control freak was freaking out big time. I managed to last for about a week before I was begging to someone to let me play with the planning spreadsheet.
Then I forced myself to take a deep breath, and just enjoy it. The result was to read way more than usual. I signed up for 11 books a month... that would mean around 28ish books for the entire round. I ended at 62 and only because last week and a half was quite busy IRL.
What I miss the most is the idea brainstorming... and how throwing things in the air translated into awesomeness....But hey, can't have it all, and is not like I can't keep feeding the chipmunks *evil grin*
