Diana Hryniuk | 838 comments A Walk to Remember embraced me with its warmness. Jamie, one of the main heroes, was so naive, kind and patient that sometimes I doubted existence of such people in our world. Nevertheless, such people do exist. And they enlighten our world with their selfless deeds, which is what Jamie did. It was interesting to read how people who had thought her to be strange, not only changed their mind, but also changed themselves under her influence.

This book is similar with "Before I Die" in its topic. But it is much better for me. It makes to think about people, to show compassion, to get rid of stereotypes.

I saw the movie too. And I think it's even better than the book because the main characters are described very deeply.

Joi (missjoious) | 3970 comments I didn't read the book until I saw the movie at last 15 times (grew up with the movie), and definitely agree. Not many places where the movie is better- but this is one of them.
