Post apocalyptic, Japanese characters, set in an island I think. Something to do with language, they had elders who had deformed heads, held all the information since beginning of the new world. There was a westerner couple, I think sent to them for experiment? There were 3 books. This Japanese colony did trade with other tribes.

Hi yes. I read it about 15 years ago, around 2005. lent to me by a friend, and it looked like the book was old, maybe around 20 or 30 years old. No Yes def adult book.
