***If you do not have access to your partner's shelf, please send a friend request to your partner!***
You now have one week to decide amongst yourselves how many books you will pick for each other, and to make those choices.

You can chat with your partner either here or by PM- PREFERABLY BY PERSONAL MESSAGE SO THAT THIS BOARD IS NOT CLUTTERED UP.

Either way, all of you MUST do a post on here this week that is similar to the exemplar that I did on the first post:

My name: Daniel
My partner: Sarah
The books picked for me: Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer The Hunt (The Hunt, #1) by Andrew Fukuda
Cinder (read 1/16/2015)- 4 stars. Intriguing premise, great characters, and a really cool retelling that was unfortunately plagued by predictability.
The Hunt (read 1/28/2015)- 4 stars. The Hunt had lots of suspense, admirable lead characters, and kept me scared and nervous.

Note that you have until the end of February to read the books and edit/fill in the information/short review at the bottom. But by the end of this week the post should at least show the books that your partner has picked for you.
Have fun!

World After (read 2/8/2015)- 4 stars. Slow beginning but really picked up and got super intense. Penryn and Raffe's relationship is gripping- can't wait for the last book.

The books she picked for me:
UnSouled (Unwind, #3) by Neal Shusterman
The Girl Who Could Talk to Zombies by Rusty Fischer read Jan 20th 3 stars Not what I really expected but funny. Didnt like how it ended.
The Werewolf's Daughter by M.R. Street read Feb 16th 3 stars It was an good story. It had some twists that I didn't see coming and some I did. While there was romance it didn't overshadow the werewolf story. I was a little confused about what happened at the end but I would like to read the sequel.

The books picked for me:

Prodigy (Legend, #2) by Marie Lu 1/26 ***** I enjoyed this one more than the first. Great dystopian read. Strong characters.

Unbreakable (The Legion, #1) by Kami Garcia 2/6 ****
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Stone Cold Touch (The Dark Elements, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout 2/19 **** I did enjoy this book, but there was a little too much love triangle. It dragged a little in the middle of the book, then thankfully picked up. I can't believe it ended that way. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Death Cloud (Young Sherlock Holmes, #1) by Andrew Lane 2/22 **** I enjoyed this book. It was interesting seeing the young Sherlock and his start on the investigation path. Good characters.

The Sun Dwellers (The Dwellers, #3) by David Estes 2/28 ***** Amazing!

M. A. Hickman (mahickman) My name: Millie
My partner: Kami
Books picked for me:
The unmaking of hunter kennedy: (read 1/17/15) 5 stars. I thought this book was going to be like pulling teeth to read and be filled with just romancy fluff but I was so wrong. Loved everything about this story. loved the wit, banter, angst and the romance.

panic: (read 1/25/15) 2 stars, this book was not for me. the love intrest did not work for. I could not relate to the characters. It was very hard for me to finish.

the maze runner: (read 2/28/15) I really enjoyed the intensity of this book, wow super intense. I was was pulled in by the "NEED ANSWERS" factor. However, it did make me realise that I do need a love intrests in a story to really hold my attention. But once that was introduced I could not put it down.

The books picked for me: Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead Taken (Taken, #1) by Erin Bowman In the After (In the After, #1) by Demitria Lunetta Reboot (Reboot, #1) by Amy Tintera Talon (Talon, #1) by Julie Kagawa

Talon (Talon, #1) by Julie Kagawa 4 stars. Overall I enjoyed this read. Definitely different as far as the dragon thing, but it made me think a bit of a Romeo and Juliet kind of story...mortal enemies but they didn't know it, although they did suspect. There was a certain book I was thinking of while I was reading it, and I have forgotten. If I remember, I'll update my post.

In the After (In the After, #1) by Demitria Lunetta 4 stars. Really liked this one! It was a slow start, but once it got going (about a third of the way in) I was HOOKED! It reminded me of Feed a bit, although not as in depth or long, and this ones about aliens. Very excited for the sequel!

Taken (Taken, #1) by Erin Bowman 3 stars. This one was just okay for me. I really liked the first half, and the concept. I wasn't fond of the characters, although I did like Bree and Blaine. I just had trouble getting lost in the story I guess.

Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead 4.5 stars. LOVED this one! I love this crazy world that Richelle Mead has created. I wondered how I would like this series, with no Rose in the picture. She is what made the series for me. But we do get Adrian, and I like him almost as much. This one was an easy read, flew through it, loved every minute.

Reboot (Reboot, #1) by Amy Tintera 4 stars. Really enjoyed this read, it was a fresh take on a dystopian, and I really liked the two main characters. The ending seemed a bit easy, but I'm still excited for the sequel!

The books picked for me: Brightest Kind of Darkness (Brightest Kind of Darkness, #1) by P.T. Michelle Everblue (Mer Tales, #1) by Brenda Pandos Breathe (Breathe, #1) by Sarah Crossan

~Everblue: (1/12/15) 4 stars. Very addictive story line, great characters, some parts drag out and were unnecessary.
~Brightest Kind of Darkness: (1/29/15)5 stars. I was pleasantly surprised with this book. The character were easy to like, and the story line was intriguing enough to keep my attention through the whole book. Can't wait to see whats next for Ethan and Inara.
~Breathe: (2/7/15) 4 Stars. This book was a slow at first but grew on me the more i read. I found my self caring what happened to the characters.

The books picked for me: Pivot Point (Pivot Point, #1) by Kasie West Rose Under Fire (Code Name Verity, #2) by Elizabeth Wein Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee and Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1) by Katie McGarry

Rose Under Fire 01/20/15: I LOVE IT! Gave it 5 stars.A book that it was sometimes depressing but still a beautiful story. The thing I liked the most in this book is that you still get to know other characters and what happens to them, like with Maddie.

Pivot Point 01/22/15:Gave it 4 stars. A really interesting book and such an easy, fast read. I had never read something like it, but I'm still deciding in wich category this book falls, for me it has dystopian, paranormal, contemporary... The end left me wanting more and I'm glad the story is not over yet.

Pushing the Limits 12/02/15: Gave it 4 of 5 stars, but it was more of a 3.5. It was a good story. Both main characters had a horrible past. They team up to get some files from Mrs. Collins, and in the process they fall in love with each other. My problem was that sometimes I felt overwhelmed with everything. But anyway, I still enjoyed the story.

Angelfall: 19/02/15: Gave it 5 out of 5 stars. I don't know what to say about it... I'm speechless. Can't believe I waited this long to read this one.

The books picked for me:

Talon (Talon, #1) by Julie Kagawa Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3) by Leigh Bardugo The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick

Talon - read 1/20/15, rated 4 stars. Very interesting concept about modern day dragons. Had one of the most unusual triangles I've ever seen and I didn't mind it all because it made sense. A bit predictable once you delve in, especially towards the end but I do want to read the next one. Perfect pick for me!

The Kite Runner - read 2/15/15, rated 5 stars. Powerful read. I read 90% of this in one sitting and could barely put it down. Lots of feels! So glad my buddy picked this one for me. I can't believe I waited so long to read this! :)

Black Ice - read 2/21/15, rated 4 stars. This was a triller w some decent twists although I figured those out about 1/2 way through so that annoyed me a bit. The MC was a little too teenagey angsty for me, but overall it was enjoyable.

The books picked for me: Undivided (Unwind, #4) by Neal Shusterman Red Rising (Red Rising Trilogy, #1) by Pierce Brown Flashforward by Robert J. Sawyer

Undivided: read 1/19/15.This book was so good. I gave it five stars. I would compare it to a emotional roller coaster in the dark, There are so many twists and turns and a lot of then I didn't see coming, A very good ending to a great series.

Red Rising: read 1/29/15. This was a good book to read but I'm having a hard time putting how I feel about this book into words. I enjoyed the book but I thought some parts of the book took longer than they should of. Also there where some technical terms that confused me a little in the beginning and the the color systems of the society. I know gold is at the top and red is at the bottom but what about all the colors in between? So all in all I enjoyed this book enough to want to read it's squeal. (to bad I have to wait a year for the one after that) four out of five stars.

Flashforward: Read 2/11/2015. This book has a really interesting concept. What would happen if you saw your own future. Would seeing you own future change it or put it even more firmly on that course. Would that future be the only possible future or only one of many possible future. I think I'm getting a little off topic. I enjoyed this book but found the middle a little lagging. I was glued to the book at the end. A recommend reading it and watching the series that is loosely based on the book. rating 4/5 stars.
Edit: Sacajawea was removed and replaced with Flashforward becuase Sacajawea was over 1,200 pages long

The books picked for me: Never Never (Never Never, #1) by Colleen Hoover A Thousand Pieces of You (Firebird, #1) by Claudia Gray The Golden Lily (Bloodlines, #2) by Richelle Mead

Never Never (date read 20/01/15) - 2.5 stars. Interesting short story with a focus on mystery and romance. Difficult to put down however was slightly unrealistic. Has a huge cliffhanger.

A Thousand Pieces of You (date read 12/02/15) - 2.5 stars. A YA sci-fi with amazing potential. A daring chase across dimensions and a love triangle that transcends worlds. Unfortunately I didn't buy into the romance and didn't connect with the main character.

The Golden Lily (date read 15/02/15) - 3 stars. A continuation of the Bloodlines series. This YA vampire novel is really fun to read. I enjoyed watching Sydney's relationship with Adrian develop and there were some humourous moments.

Before I Fall (read 11/2) 3-4 stars. Good book, although somewhere in the middle I lost my interest, but closer to the ending I enjoyed it. The ending* made it all up.
*fun fact: The last page was ripped in the middle so I lost half of my sentences. Stupid library!

Crown of Midnight (read 19/2) 5 stars. This is totally my genre! I loved this book and I can't wait to read more about Celaena, Chaol, Dorian and the rest of Erilea.

Immortal (read 25/2) 4 stars. I had my doubts with the vampire theme, but I really liked it. Sometimes I thought the story would begin to slack, but it didn't. The book has a good pace.

Woopss... a bit too late
Shadow and Bone (read 2/3) 5 stars. Never expected it was this good. Great plot twists and love the fantasy.
