Bird Box
question
Is it worth reading?
This is one of my all time favorite books. So different, so suspenseful , found myself holding my breath in almost every chapter once the story got started. I still find myself wondering to this day what these creatures look like :)
Such a great book! Wish there could be a sequel.

This was one of my highlight reads last year. Yes. Read it.
Yes, but only if you are looking for something different! I thoroughly enjoyed it. What sounds totally implausible at first becomes more and more real as you read. One of the most inventive and suspenseful books I've read in this genre.
Absolutely.
I think it is one of the best suspense book I have read in a while.

Don't start reading it right before bed if you're planning on sleeping at all.
A great tale with a wonderful pace, rocketing from one chapter to the next. Easily recommend.
Yes! This is the only book that has come close to scaring me.
I would recommend reading this book for sure. I just finished it yesterday and it was definitely worth it. It's a quick read but it's hard to put down if you like thrillers.
This is my favorite book I have ever read. I borrowed it from the library at first. But when I finished it I wanted to buy it so I could read it again and again. I is a great conversation starter especially if you're in a book club and really gets you thinking. I never got bored and there was really no 'filler' so it was suspenseful all the way. I have recommended it to all my friends and Even a picky reader friend of mine, enjoyed this.
It kept me turning the pages, wondering what would happen next.
However, I did have several questions when I finished it, so I'm hoping for a sequel that will answer them.

It is a quirky book and not an easy read. However, it is well worth the time.
I couldn't stop thinking about this book. Would I have survived? What would I have wanted to have in the house? Would I have had the courage the heroine had?
I got it on sale on Kindle when it first came out...I think for like 1.99. I wasn't sure if I liked it for the first two or three chapters, when it really got into the story, but after that I was hooked. It is definitely one of the few books I would read again, I thought it was so good. I would say give it a go!
If you like reading different types of horror and are looking for something a little "fresh," go ahead and read it!
