SOLVED. Science Fiction Short Story Collection containing "Jihad" [s]

I am looking for a particular short story, written by a female science fiction/fantasy author... I think she's a pretty big name, too, but I can't recall.

The name of the story, I am almost certain, is "Jihad" and it features Col. Lawrence (of Lawrence of Arabia fame) pretty prominently.

I wanted to read it but I can't locate the collection that it was in... any thoughts?
