It doesn't have to be finished. Sometimes, I get caught up in the story and don't wanna take time off to post comments so I do it at the end. What I usually do is write down my thoughts at the 25%, 50%, 75% and after the book is done as a note in some random line which I later copy paste and send. If you want to comment as you read, it is absolutely fine and several other people do it.

They aren't dumb. I was new not long ago and kept thinking I'll do something wrong too lol.

Okay then! Now I'm finally ready to start reading this. Like I said earlier this book looks really interesting and your comments made me to look forward really amazing adventure. On of my GR-friends has also read this and gave 5 stars.
Author is unfamiliar to me, but the cover is amazing! I like thrilling and dark books, monsters and evil things everywhere 🤗 I really looove scary books and it's all too long ago since I've last read that kind of book. So I am waiting so much from this book and hope I don't get disappointed!

Chapter 9
(view spoiler)[I think there is good quality in her writing - something that is sometimes lacking in YA books. I really enjoy the writing!
There isn't happening so much in the beginning, I wouldn't mind more action and scary things. But the story is building and I think it may be a good thing that we get to know different characters a bit more in the beginning. Sometimes if there is much action the characters are lacking much but here the characters are not lame.
I like Camila as a MC; I like her humor - although I don't like that she is brave enough to say mean things to strangers and then allowing her boyfriend to be a douchebag. And her BF. It's a bit strange and hard to believe.
I'm really waiting there would start happening things, the beginning was slower I was waiting for and not so much scary things I was hoping to come. But maybe we are going there? (hide spoiler)]

It's true that there is something not right in Camila. I think this could be a good book without that part: only some old haunted house -thing would work for me. What did you think about this "darkness inside me -thing": did the story needed that? I think it's maybe a bit irritating - in this point - that the story is referring her inside darkness and not telling the hole thing - telling what's this "darkness inside her". I am afraid that in the end when it's clear it's some lame thing 😂 Maybe that's the reason I feel I could take this story without that. But I may be wrong, we will see! (hide spoiler)]

For me I was getting : adoption, something strange in her. I didn't get what was so strange in her and what was that patient-thing - she only as a number without name.

There was a girl who killed her family in the 1930s and in the 1950s someone has slit the throats but it was unknown who. There wasn't a girl who slit the throats if I remember right. But anyway all the cases were too old for Camila to be involved. And you're right: she doesnt's remember anything that has happened before she was 6 yo.

I'm started to think that Tyler is quite disgusting and I like Kieran. I wasn't surprised what happened with her boyfriend, I'm only hoping she would find self-esteem to say goodbye to him. I think you'll enjoy the 50%-70% mark a lot. I know that's where I had the most fun 😉

(view spoiler)[ Initially, I thought he was behaving like an asshole. He was making fun of a girl he doesn't know at the diner and was unapologetic after Camila got drenched because of him. He claimed he didn't see the puddle but didn't seem to care. So I didn't like his attitude initially. But then we get to know he is a gang prince or whatever but still, don't be an asshole.

Chapter 17
(view spoiler)[It was so terrible what happened when Camila left the house. I had no idea something could happen if she leave the house so that was really surprising and horrible! There is still a bit too much drama, I prefer more scary things. Maybe it's a bit unrealistic that every single guy she meets is good looking. That isn't possibile. And it's a bit sick that you would think about every guy they're hot... Specially if you already have a boyfriend and you think he is the dreams come true -type. And I still wonder where Camila's self-esteem is. She is now only wondering if they still have a relationship or not. WHAT?? He is a totally jerk and she is only waiting he to tell if they're still together or not. Can't believe what I just read! So this romantic part is really annoying but I'm still enjoying the scary things and hope more of them. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[This wasn't that scary and creepy that I had hoped althought the ending was quite creepy. There was much much more drama included than I had excepted. Overall this was still nice to read, I liked her writing style and laughed many times while reading! So I enjoyed reading this! The ending was quite unbelievable: there was all the time talk about "darkness inside her" and something about "darkness taking control over her" that I was quite afraid that in the end when everything will be clear it would be something lame and that was exactly what happened. It was quite lame solution that "her darkness" had nothing to do with things and it had been all the time her sister that had done things. But like I said, I enjoyed reading this! (hide spoiler)]
