usually when there is an additional person listed, they are an adapted by person.

The term editor covers a huge number of roles.

In the book, the person is credited as "The Scarlet Pimpernel Baroness Orczy abridged by Chandralekha Mathur". I'm confused now. Should I add it as an adapted version?
