I think the Fresh Prince was definitely an organic connection - knowing Will came from West Philly to a private school in Bel Air. Without knowing much about Harry Potter (I know, I know! lol), my only idea is the innocence of the young Harry/Starr, Ron/Khalil, and Hermione/Natasha in a world where they’re trying to navigate good vs evil (Voldemort/King).
