Kirsten’s behavior after she was taken to the apartment was bizarre. What did you think was going on? Were you concerned that she was being drugged or somehow incapacitated?

[Robin]

When she was so groggy, I thought she was being drugged so she didn't give her kidnapper any trouble. But as we learned that he was caring for her and that he had dug some glass out of her feet, I figured that her feet were infected. Therefore, she was having trouble walking and was very sick and weak from the infection.

[Charlene]

I was with Robin here, too. It took me quite a while to get the real drift of this part of the story.

[Melissa]

I thought she was being drugged, but then the extent of her injuries was revealed and, like Robin, I thought infection and altered mental status from it.

[Anita]

I didn't know what was happening to her. She was acting like she was drugged and after her injuries were detailed I figured she had a bad infection and needed a doctor's help, even if she didn't want to go to the hospital.

Her behavior confused me for a long time until I realized how long she’d been at the apartment and was more than groggy. Took me awhile to figure out she had an infection. Up until then, I thought she was being drugged.

I was confused by her behavior also but then finally realized she had an infection. Before that, I thought someone was drugging her.
