Anino (anino) I just finished an arc for Pumpkin a Cindermama Story (Book 1) by Ines Johnson , and I just bought More Than Always (Love Always, #2) by Jacinta Howard by the brilliant Jacinta Howard, who wrote Happiness In Jersey by Jacinta Howard .

I highly recommend this book to everyone. It has me in stitches, OMG, LOL, wetting myself, in side splitting laughter moments.
It is well worth the money. There are a few misused words, but they are not distracting.
The Blairs, their friends and family are a crazy mess.

How can any one not love Red and Malcolm, Winnie and Jacob, Rena and Matt and their kids and parents?

This is the 4th installment and I have enjoyed every single one of them. You may as well

Are you sure Roxie Rivera Russian series feature BW? I couldn't figure out the races of the heroine in all of her books except one. There was one character who was a statuesque BW but it seems to me that all the others were WW.

Amore (Battaglia Mafia Series Book 5) by Sienna Mynx just came out and of course I one-clicked it. I'm addicted to this series.

Fashionista, I loved Rallenti by Sienna Mynx too. I can't wait to read the main course Amore (Battaglia Mafia Series Book 5) by Sienna Mynx .

The FountainPenDiva, Old school geek chick and lover of teddy bears (thefountainpendiva) | 1216 comments Giving Rallenti by Sienna Mynx a read because the heroine has dark brown skin and an afro. That works for me big time. I'm way past done with caramel, butterscotch, honey or anything that sounds like Mariah Carey/Beyonce. And the heroine actually enjoys sex. How often does that happen?

Tina, that's an author I forgot about. I did really like the books of hers that were read.

I started Amore (Battaglia Mafia Series Book 5) by Sienna Mynx . Really liking it so far.

Taida (dreadlockeddiva) | 98 comments I just finished this A Devil Named Dixon 1 (Dirty Rotten Dixons) by Lavender Parker by Lavendar Parker. It is the first part in a serial. It reminded me why I usually wait for all the books in serial/series to be completed before I read them. While not a cliffhanger per se, did not like the unfinished nature of it. It is an interesting story, I am just going to wait until the last book is published before I read anymore.

TinaNoir | 1456 comments Just finished I Love My Fire by Sabrina Lacey I liked it, it felt a bit different. A Chick-lit romance set in NYC.

Also finished Somebody to Love (Somebody series Book 2) by Kate Rothwell . Hist romance set in turn-of-century New York. Good writing, wish the author had been a bit bolder about how she wanted to deal with the race thing. There was some good nuance there, but still felt a little timid.

Mel, though it wasn't one of my favorite reads, the book itself has a special place in my collection for being one of the few physical IR books I own. Out of the rooms full of books in my house, only have about 5 "real" IR books. For that alone probably should have bumped my rating up, come to think of it...

It's the first series I've read to have an IR couple as the "main couple" and I just overall loved the book, I've read the first 4 books and they just suck me in every time. I'm constantly looking for more like it but the results have been few and far between...

This is one of those past read books I Goodreads' rated when joining. Honestly if I were to read it now, suspect it would get a much higher rating from me because my biggest issue was the hero being so beta, versus an alpha. This was read so long ago, I didn't even know that terminology to name my "problem" with it. I can easily admit the writing, and characterization is far superior to a lot of things read recently that I've rated higher. Very few IR things nowadays are this market ready. For one this was traditionally published, so no editing issues to speak of. Just talking about it here, and on another thread in this group is making me think it's time for a re-read.

I definitely liked Dark Thirst. I liked the atypical hero, Brandon. Lina was tough and likable. I haven't kept up with the series, though.

I love Brandon, I thought he was really sweet and sensitive and I liked the twist that Lina was tough and protective of him. It just worked for me. I like the other couples as well, everyone brings something different to the table. That's my issue like I much prefer to read books published by traditional publishing houses or solid indie houses especially if I'm reading adult but it's soooo hard to find something IR. It breaks my heart that the market isn't bigger:(

I've liked all of the books so far, the only book that was kind of a dud was book 4, Tristan and Karen's book.
